High commission rate and missing funds

Tradesy just became greedy and raised their commission rate. They stated that they will keep managing the features such as handle returns, however, there return inspection team have huge problems. They will return the item for you for any reason if Tradesy doesn’t not want to keep the products even the items is as described. Sellers also beware of the available earnings, I have found so many times that my available earning was in a negative balance for no reasons, I emailed and called them, the answer they gave me is the app has bugs and they couldn’t give me any reason why they money is missing. They literally just stole my money and I’m still waiting for their response. Not mention they hold your money for such a long period before they release. High commission rate and missing funds. Not recommend to sell in this site.

I have never been disappointed with my purchases!! I’ve only returned an item once but it was only b/c the size was too small. Retailers are friendly and respond quickly to my emails and questions all the time!! I will continue to purchase from the site!!

Love Tradesy! Have gotten two fantastic vintage bags - one Gucci and one LV. Could not be happier. The app is pretty much perfect, but I can't figure out how to view favorites in my phone. Other than that, highly recommend.

Used to be my favorite app for selling unwanted items clustering my closet...not anymore! I have to say their customer service is getting more and more unsatisfying by the day. They are very snappy and don't give you a chance to express your concerns. Also, there's way too many unnecessary upgrades causing app freezes. They keep increasing their commission almost every quarter of the year lol. I'm just so disappointed in Tradesy because no one seem to care bad reviews or not.

I am disgusted that they increased their commission from 9% to 19% in short amount of time! Can we say that greed has taken over? Now I have to decide to either increase the cost of my closet or go elsewhere. I am researching other options and there are better alternatives, EBay or Poshmark, or even Craigslist will be better!

Huge LV inventory which is kind of annoying. I don't care for that overpriced super designer brand and wish they had a function where you could select all designers minus a few.

I have bought and sold on Tradesy. The rates aren’t the lowest but a lot better than the consignment shops. You reach so many more people on Tradesy. I like selling there but love buying there. There are so many pieces that I have never seen before.
20% Commission

When I first started selling on Tradesy the fee was around 9% of the sale of the item , next it was raised to 14.9% which was a little high in my opinion but I kept selling but with the latest increase to 20% it is almost becoming ridiculous. On top of the 20% you have to pay another 3% for your funds to be withdrawn. I am removing my items and not returning to Tradesy since it is not with losing so much money.
