The thermostat does not connect regularly with the heater. It’s a big pain because the house cools off because the even thermostat has not cycled to connect. For people who are hoping to turn up the heat and expect a quick response, this is not the product you want.

I use this with MitsubishI MHK-1 and a separate Honeywell thermostat for a boiler and dehumidifier. I don’t have access to scheduling, fan speeds, vane position or anything other than systems mode and temp override over the app.

It is wonderful to be able to adjust your home thermostat on the go. When we travel we can have the house at a comfortable temp when we get home without wasting money by having the heat or air on the whole time we are away. We can either set it to adjust at the time we think we will be home, or adjust it on the fly on the way home. Highly recommend.

The app is pretty easy to figure out and configure. Great convenience to be able to warm and cool building as needed without even being in the country. Received a few odd notifications about connectivity but otherwise no problems.
Be sure to check your wiring!!

Had to have my furnace setup with the "C" wire, due to previous thermostat wiring did not have it. That cost me an additional $50, but well worth it, cuz this thermostat is GREAT. Can set it from anywhere, as long as you have WiFi. Super accurate too.
Minimal functionality

This interface provides minimal functionality (on, off, program a daily schedule) as compared to what you can actually do with the thermostat. We use the Honeywell WiFi thermostat and app for our rental beach home. I need to be able to change various settings through the phone app including the advanced settings for locking, unlocking, partially locking the touch thermostat. Please, please, please add more functionality to include changing various settings to this app!!

works well for my purposes. i am away from home for 24 hrs at a time, weekly, and i can monitor temps from work. no silly alerts or notifications. i have had NO problems with connectivity or servers. i did have to run a hot wire through a transformer for constant power but still better than batteries imo. priced right

The app works! Remote control and monitoring of thermostat. Integrated easily with Alexa (for voice control) & my Vera controller (automation and intetergration). For my situation the thermostat and app are perfect.
