Mostly cheap fun junk. I’ve gotten many things off Tophatter. Although beware it seems the latest thing is if you win an auction and the seller deems your bid too low your item will be canceled and refunded. There was no reserve on any of these items and the seller gives no explanation. I’ve had this happen to me several times recently and Tophatter refuses to do anything about it.

Purchased 3 “Bose” headsets, they arrived I open them up — all illegal, illegitimate knockoffs. Now I have to make arrangements to return them for a refund... which of course will take another 17-30 days for it to even reach China. Also another item I won was a little car heater/defroster. How cool right? Wrong, the item they sold I bid and won wasn’t in stock and they refunded me. Out of the 10 items I’ve ordered 3 have shown up (the fake headphones) and I’m definitely not going to use this app ever again after this fiasco. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Seriously. The app will crash every so often too when you’re trying to bid on an item you want it won’t let you bid... or even worse your bid did go through and doesn’t say anything.

Items are not as described I ordered the bumblebee transformer car not only did it take long to get it but the toy car is not as pictured in Tophatter it was so small the size of my palm the image in top hatter showed a lil boy next to the car toy and was almost as big as him this toy I received in the mail is one of those toys u get in the 99cents store or in dtla to better described a cheap “one time use” toy car very poorly made and even the packaging looks like a real cheap car I guess u get what u paid for be careful what u order check where it’s coming from.

I have gotten so many things from Tophatter and some stuff is great but other stuff is either missing parts, very cheap or Doesn’t match the picture! The biggest thing for me is that they will NOT give me a refund unless I return the item and the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!! I message them/email and they hardly ever get back to me! It’s ridiculous!

This app has been very helpful in hard times with the pandemic going on now. I’ve purchased quite a few things I’ve needed or wanted with the help of credits and carful bidding. Do you’re research and read the reviews. The shipping takes a long time. But worth the wait for a good deal. Sometimes I have received items of poor quality but rarely, which is ok with me because I either paid tax only or just a couple of dollars on the item so it wasn’t much of a loss. I was able to purchase a jacket and a pair of shoes for almost nothing and love them both good quality.

Ok so this is the best app to get stuff from. Theyr customer service takes a little bit to answer but they always deliver. U are covered 100 percent if your item does not ship on time or if you don’t receive it. I highly recommend it.

Worst company/app Seconds after winning my first bid, Tophatter took the money within seconds from me entering in my billing/shipping info. And to my “surprise” (rolling eyes) the order was cancelled directly after payment was processed without any warning or explanation provided. Oh!! And they still have my money! I’m just thankful they only got a small portion of my hard earned money. P.S. Still no response from Tophatter Customer Support. Hopefully, this just means they are rectifying the issue before responding. (Reality = I got hosed)

The app itself isn’t bad, and neither are the items really. Just be aware that you get what you pay for. I had ordered a set of lights, for five dollars, and by “a set of lights” I mean a singular light. It doesn’t bother me, but it’s things like that that tend to drag the app down a lot. People feel scammed because the images and description on the product mislead them. Also, be aware that the products don’t tend to come with instructions when they need them. On the lights I ordered, the battery pack is strange, and I can’t seem to get it to work and the packaging offered no help in figuring it out. Also, I think the layout of the app should contain a search bar of some kind. I know the auctions are very limited in time, but when someone sees an item in an ad and wants to search for it on the app it’s really hard to find much. For a good portion of it, the items do seem to be kind of useless knickknacks, so if that’s your thing you’d like it.

Wow if I could give this site less than a star I would. Delivery is awful it takes months to get this stuff so I’m fairly certain it’s coming from China when you do not receive an item they do their best not to refund your money Stay away
