Great app if it worked

I love how this has almost every sketch from SNL, but I don’t live how it always takes minutes for the video to buffer, if it does at all. I also frequently get Debbie Downer on my screen because of numerous bugs, and ill frequently close out of the app and reload it only to find that it still doesn’t work. Please fix!

Since my original review below I've been contacted not once but twice by "the developer" with the same response, that being how they understand but that giving them my personal information will make the whole experience better. I explained to them the first time that I didn't need their input into what I want to watch but got no response. That was months ago. Today they sent me the same response and asked if I wanted to change my review. It'd be zero stars if that was an option. ORIGINAL COMMENT: I immensely enjoyed this app as it allowed me to watch and share great skits from over the years. I’ve now been forced to delete it since I am not about to submit to data mining as a cost of watching reruns.

The app now requires an NBC Profile to proceed. I tried to sign up in the app but it said "We're unable to verify your email" and the Sign Up button was greyed out. Signing up online was also difficult as it would not accept my email address. Finally I provided a gmail address for it and it worked. It must only support certain email domain names.

I absolutely LOVED this app and can’t even count how many friends Ive recommended it to BUT the 30 second commercials you’ve recently added that play every couple of minutes are ridiculous. I can’t even get through watching one sketch without the same Chevy Commercial playing over and over. I’ve never been willing to pay for a premium version of any app before now but I will pay anything to skip these commercials! PLEASE CONSIDER ADDING THIS OPTION TO THE APP SOON!!

The app no longer works for me. When I select Explore and select a season, there are no available videos . 0 results w/ the Stefan: Can’t Find What You’re Looking For. If I select “Watch”, no videos come up and I often get the Debbie Downer. I’m signed into NBC. I’ve always had some of these same issues in the past but only sporadically. Now it’s happening all the time.

It used to be you could just open the app and start watching some clips. Now, they tell you that an NBC sign-in will benefit you in all these myriad ways and to sign-in. That’s it. No option to continue without sign-in. A real bummer. It used to be a good app.

It would be a great app if the video playback didn’t stop randomly throughout the video and go black. This app is extremely buggy. Please fix.

tbh I love this app more than I love my friends and family but it is literally SO GLITCHY! It’ll be working fine and then I’ll get a pic of Rachel Dratch as Debbie Downer saying “something went wrong” or “connection timed out. retry?” or something to that effect, WHILE THE VIDEO IS PLAYING JUST FINE, and I’ll click “okay” or “retry” or whatever, and it’ll just keep popping up over and over again, even if the video is still playing. also sometimes I’ll click a cast members name under “explore” (or at least Bill Hader, idk if it does this for everyone tbh) and Stefon will be there saying something like “Can’t find what you’re looking for” and I’m like... “mmm there were 599 videos here 10 minutes ago” and I think the videos that come up when I search, like, switch around their order very slightly or like, the number of videos that come up will change and stuff. also I think it lets me add videos to my favorites more than once or otherwise doesn’t register some favoriting? Idk also I bet when the next season starts up this will be different, but on the off season, it’s a little annoying to open the app and have the same video (or maybe like the same 3 or 4 videos) pop up and start playing: I’d love something that like suggests videos I might like or something. I’d also love to be able to search tags like “gameshow” or “politics” and stuff like that! I love SNL so much and this app could be such an amazing resource for fans! I’m so glad it exists and I know if it ran more smoothly and had more features, I would personally recommend it to literally everyone I know ? (but seriously, I definitely think it could get so popular these days!) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it better!! ?
