Haven’t been able to login since the update. Tried to reset my password but apparently now I’m not in there anymore after 11 years of rewards. Ridiculous!

Best hotel app I’ve seen

Stejjie

As good as a hotel app gets. Most impressive. I can do most of what I want with and at the property right on my phone. Compliments the legendary service RC is known for.

Horrible Customer Service

Drilson

Called in this evening, was given wrong information as a Marriott Gold Member after the unprofessional call was asked to get transfers to complete survey and was out on hold for 48minutes. I'd like a response where the multiple calls can be reviewed. I will be cancelling my membership with Marriott and Ritz Carlton and most likely my credit card as well- worst customer service of any hotel phone line I've ever dealt with.

Ritz Carlton Watertower Chicago

lizarn12

My husband and I been guests of the Ritz Carlton on Michigan Avenue on the 12th floor of Water Tower Place in Beautiful Downtown Chicago for 30 years and counting! This is my favorite “retreat house”! When the weather permits I can stroll from the hotel to Oak Street Beach, swim, have lunch and a cocktail at the island type open outside restaurant on the beach itself, shop in Oak street famous designer stores and many boutiques, attend mass at Holy Name “people, bird and people watch at all safe parks, eat lunch outside at one of the many outstanding cafes , visit art galleries, famous designer clothing stores, etc etc return to the hotel where the doormen rush to grab my bags and take them to my room for me. with a simple map and directions the connoisseurs insists I take with a yellow marker drawn map of my route along the lakefront, two blocks away. One of the doormen has fetched me a “divvy bike” to ride on the bike path along the lake front to Millenium park. I park my divvy bike and take a ride on the biggest Ferris wheel I’ve ever seen. I then board a sailboat on Navy pier for an afternoon relaxing sail along Chicago’s beautiful picturesque Lakefront. I splurge on a horse drawn carriage back to the hotel with a quick stop across the street from it to pick up beer , rum, chips, cheese, and good wine at the Walgreens on Michigan. The doormen greet me by name , escort me to the elevator, and I exit at the hotel floor. If I wanted I could get off on the “shopping floor “ and walk onto water tower shops and lounge chairs in the center for husbands who prefer to not do so, or to eat at the open cafeteria on the floor below , pick up deli, shop more, but no,... I should of worn my Walking shoes like all smart Chicagoans do but no I wore leather loafers and the blisters were really bad !! I enter “The Palace” I call it and I am suddenly Cinderella and become a princess! The beautiful lighting, the smell of flowers , the sound of laughter, the light of crystals rainbows reflected off the glass everywhere! The expanse of the lobby and the extravagance of the bar across the marble floor, the smiling caring genuine staff, all made me feel like a princess coming home. Sounds corny but real. This hotel is a dream! The ambiance and the effect the steps down and dropped ceiling to the bar the mixture of glass, stone, granite, marble, and it’s people spell luxury attitude! The rooms are dignified elegant and minimalistic . They always have great art and photography on walls. The window is a wall and huge view is the city or lake, all beautiful to look at and ponder. My favorite is the bed. I even bought the exact bed at home! You can purchase online in their catalogs all linens and bed and most marvelous pillows ever made! The bathroom has two sinks with plenty of room for woman’s makeup, brushes, curling iron etc. I found the room dryer to be perfect for hair . No need to bring your own hair dryer. Also a wall mounted magnifier mirror. They supply shoe buffer sponger, plastic hair net, cotton swabs, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath gel all great products! The bathtub is great and long and deep! The shower has great pressure and hot hot water ! The towels are huge and two huge beautiful terry cloth robes to use. The iron is fabulous and Board or send out to clean in hotel. Room service excellent food delicious! My favorite breakfast oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins and cream and carafe of coffee small serves one., and I ask for “ whipped cream” they bring me a bowl of it. The hotel also has a pool and a spa! I have swam in the pool several times and was thrilled because I was able to swim60 lengths with no interruption , because no one else was there. I have been told the new locker rooms and spa are wonderful. Both are open very early am until very late 12 red, I.e. facials, massages, ? Not sure but probably available with prices on website.pm?? . Also offer many locker rooms have steam rooms and whirlpools. The staff are amazing, so I overtip, and my husband doesn’t know, unless He sees this. By my second visit, they never forgot my name , my kids names, my job, what I got for Christmas, etc etc .. even the woman that takes room service orders, knows my voice ! By far, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in for; luxury, reliability, cleanliness, proximity to everything an anything to do, outstanding service and the most honest courteous staff anywhere we have visited, amazingly comfortable beds, oh and The spa! My next best is Ritz Carlton Naples on the Ocean, an amazing place to stay. Hope my review helps you in your decision . God Bless You in Your Travels and always remember, “Life is good”! P.S. just found out Marriot and Ritz Carlton are shared partners when it comes to “points” ! Also just announced in paper that marriot acquired Starwood so I think maybe you could also link Ritz Carlton to Starwood points ?!

We reserve through EAT application for thai lounge, when we went inside, they informed us this is only for members, very bad attitude on top of that! Misleading information, denial phone calls! I will make sure write the same everywhere!

Nearly the same as the Marriott App

American Flexpress

It’s pretty much the same as the Marriott app. The biggest difference is the button in the lower right corner to switch through your account, reservations, and bookings. Instead of the Marriott logo, it has tabs that tells you where you are in the different screen tabs (which makes it less confusing). This review is before the Marriott and SPG rewards unification coming 8/18, so the apps may change.

New app not working

UCTravwlw

After the merger of the loyalty plans can’t get this or the Marriott app to work and I have a stay tomorrow. Seems like this would have been checked for bugs many time over given the amount of time they’ve had to prep for this rollout
