Bringing the ridiculous nature of endless commercials to an app

People are cutting the cord for many reasons. One of them being the inability to watch shows because the continuity is disrupted by endless and repetitive commercials. Congratulations, NBC, your app does just that. I’m going back to Netflix and Prime. And as soon as I am done writing this review, the app goes bye bye.
Live TV is CONSTANTLY freezing

While watching an hour long live TV show, I had to exit the app and go back in 5 times, and this is typical behavior. My Internet connection is strong, I have no issues with any other streaming service. The screen goes black.
Buffering...buffering....buffering

This app will work great for about 30 minutes, and then it will get into a cycle of buffering, rendering streaming useless. This is across multiple platforms, and Peacock does the same thing. I love missing whole swaths of shows because, this app can’t keep up.

Somewhere along the line, the app changed. Favorited programs are not on top, but somewhere in the middle, if they show up at all. Occasionally for whatever reason, favorited programs don’t even show up. Also I watch NBC Nightly News. A few months ago, they stopped having several days worth of news in the queue. Now if you want to watch the news from two days ago or more, you can only watch clips. Only the previous nights episode is shown in its entirety. But the best thing is it’s still free.

I don’t know what changed over the last few updates but, with almost every show, it plays for a while and then gives the spinning wheel of death. If it comes back up it skips forward a bunch. If it doesn’t come back up it marks the show as watched and it takes a great deal of effort to get it to restart the show as the app sees it as watched and tries to move to the next one.
