Text based dark souls

Luinkman

I just finished a dark room, getting the alternate ending. (Goosebumps). I knew I had to get this game. If you’ve played a dark room, this game is inspired by the dusty road. You start off with a few supplies, and off you go. There’s a twist... if you die, you’re truly dead. Start over. There’s no locket saving you. I’m looking forward to playing more of this game.

Worth Completing

I know it’s ridiculously challenging, but its really with persevering to the end. Amazing game!

Why you should get this game.

At first look at the map I had no idea what was happening. Soon I realized that this game is totally worth 1.99. If you think about that the Pokemon is like 40.00 so that like...a fraction of the cost. The story is strait forward a has a good concept. A tip for people close to the end, collect items from occultist and as much alien alloy as possible. Found in battlefields.i got like 17 alloys and still didn't make it.

addicting

This game is all the best and addicting parts of The Dark Room, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing

Very frustrating at dies but that encourages you to push forward. The story is great and allows for a lot of personal interpretation which I enjoy. I especially enjoyed the commentary once you finished the game. Can't wait for the next one.

Wonderfully deep and satisfying

Well crafted game

The resource management of this game is simply brilliant. Death after death, you learn. As I was making my final runs for a "food refused" showed me that you can get very good at this game. I have not felt this accomplished mastering a game since Dark Souls. This game is frustrating at first with cheap deaths and just feeling lost, but stick with it. This game will not hold you hand, and you will say thank you when it's over.

Almost Impossible to Beat

This "prequel" to the Dark Room is only $0.99, and it's certainly worth that. But it is likely to leave you very frustrated and annoyed. I finally said "enough" and stopped playing it. I don't know if I can recommend it or not. If you buy it, be prepared to be very, VERY frustrated. I highly recommend Dark Room. This game. Not so much. It's really difficult. At least you have been warned.

Simply put, amazing

To those who played The Dark Room this is a great addition with close to the same elements on the dusty path except much much more difficult. Worth the .99¢ and will leave you with such a feeling you hadn't experienced before.

Mindblowing on so many levels

I cannot explain in words how much I love this game. It will make you feel so many emotions because of its brutal story, amazing gameplay, and the decisions you make. However, if you haven't played A Dark Room, do NOT play this game. Play a dark room first, otherwise you will not get the full experience. This game is hard at first, and you will be frustrated. Sometimes you have to die to progress into the game. The game even mocks you sometimes when you die. My favorite and most aggravating was when I was killed by a sniper. I had gotten pretty far, and by my foolishness I went too far from the center and encountered a sniper. He killed me and I had to start over. As I was passing through the introduction, the screen turned black and a single word in red appeared. headshot. I smiled and wanted to smash my phone against the wall. So to finish this up, the game is well worth the 99 cents. I would pay $10 for this game because I love it so much. The story is so rich, brutal, and sad. It makes you question who to trust and which side you really should be on. And I just love it.
