Great editor. Actually an editor you can use to edit files on iPad. An ability to upload all changed files at once not one by one would make it much more useful though.

It is year 2018, and I still need to push several buttons to download/upload files from/to the Dropbox. Auto sync is appreciated.

It just works so well, and it’s so clean. SSH is awesome too. Would love to see a bit more customizability added down the line. Vim keybindings would be sweet.

I found Textastic for IOS is great i’ve Never seen for coding . But still missing some great features. The first I one I would like to see in next update is ONE CLICK UPLOAD. When we edit file in FTP or.... We knew we gonna upload much often so we don't have to click on Share icon and click upload file, that's so annoying! It will be good if quick upload button outside that option. It will be great if we can edit in remote server and save instead of download and edit on local and trip load again. Thank you very much . Anyway great job . :)

I’m using Textastic on my iPad to play around with JavaScript. This application has everything any noobie needs to experiment with browser-based JavaScript programs. It has a file system so that all your programs are in one place. You can test all your programs in the iPad’s Safari browser. When you get a bit fancy, you can even ssh into a bona fide system, for example if you want to try node.js. Definitely a five-star app.

This app works just like any other code editor app that i use on my work computer and has even a few more features then some of those. I enjoy being able to code from my phone and this app makes working 100x better in my experiences.

Love this app, it’s my go to editor for anything more than a .txt or a .md. Only gripe, and I’m not even sure if there’s anything the devs can do about it, but for some reason Textastic never shows up in my recent apps on my iPad. If I go home while editing a file, I would expect Textastic to appear in the ‘recents’ section of my dock and in the App Switcher when I press Cmd-Tab, but it hasn’t appeared in either place. This behavior has been consistent. I’d also love to see more Shortcuts support, so I could pass a file to transmit to SFTP to my server, but for now it works fine to open documents and I can send them manually.

Being able to creat code such as HTML and CSS on the fly is a god send! There are many more languages this app can handle too!
