Early - day 3 - experience Seems silly to have someone talking you through a quiet meditation, but at the end you find yourself having to come out of the experience, not just open your eyes and immediately start yelling at your kids again. I could still hear my kids yelling during the mediation, hard to not hear it, but still could tell I had been in a more relaxed place, “emerging” from a better place.

I love this app. The guided meditations are excellent and provide a solid foundation in mindfulness practice. Dan Harris is a great "host" of the experience and helps make the process fun and easy. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using the 10% Happier App every morning for more than 2 years now. The variety of teachers and topics allows me to run a theme (like compassion) for many days in a row if that suits me, or just choose a topic of interest on any given day. As a former very angry person, not only have I noticed an appreciative difference in calmness (without giving up strength), but numbers of friends and family have noticed too. Try it! You might become a bit happier too.

I never ever thought I would be able to meditate, but have always wanted to. After many classes and failed attempts I believed I couldn’t do it. It was sad really!! After using the tools offered by “10% Happier” I can now say, yes - I can and do meditate daily! Whoop whoop! It’s amazing. I started off tentatively and skeptically, meditating for a minute initially, and built up to longer periods of meditation time. It’s life changing! I am calmer, kinder and less stressed and less anxious.

As a type A personality, I’m finding the learning curve on mindfulness laborious. That said, I had an MRI this morning and due to an injury 6 weeks ago, the right side of my lower back was very painful during the test. About 5 minutes into the 20 minute test, I started meditating and I found it helped me get through the next 15 minutes with less pain and anxiety. So bravo - after 3 lessons this seems to be working. ??

Fantastic app. I've tried to meditate many times over the years, but this app has finally got me started. The instructions are great and the courses are numerous. The app itself is well designed with continual improvements and they keep added new content.
