Does not work

This was designed to work with a pre-lit Christmas Tree. Just purchased in 11/23/2018. The app connected to the tree, then locked up after a 1 hour “firmware update”. The tree is now stuck in a re-set mode and just blinks. Seasonal specialties (who troubleshooted the tree), said “sorry, the tree works, it’s the app, call Target”. Based on the reviews of this app, it’s over a year old, and it’s not corrected. Deleting and re-installing does not work. Calling customer service at target does not help because they are just for orders, returns, etc. I was transferred several times and put on hold over an hour, before calling back in frustration. Then waited another hour just to get transferred again. Finally I had a very nice person from Target tell me to bring the tree back. I never have complained about an app… this is just not working.


Modes Disappear

It worked great on day one! I loved the different color options and being able to turn the tree off from my phone, should I not be at home. However, it now does not worn at all! The mode disappears every time I try to “reboot” it. Then it tells me to make sure, I’m close enough, my blue tooth is on, and that the tree is plugged in. I can sit directly next to the tree and it cannot pick it up. This is super frustrating!

Don’t bother. You can scan for your lights but they won’t stay in the app. Useless.

This app does not work at all. I spent a good amount of money on a tree and this app was supposed to make the experience better but it does not work at all!

This app is essentially useless. I installed it after purchasing a Christmas tree. It recognized my tree but I was unable to make it successfully perform any functions. So I deleted it and then reinstalled it. Now, it won’t even recognize the tree.

This should be named Target Crash & Freeze. Pro Tip: Less money on 3 gender bathrooms and a couple bucks more to support the products you sell.

Whomever oversaw the development of this app should be fired. We bought the tree hoping we could make it either clear or multi-colored lights. We cannot. Once you control it with the app, you can’t even change it back to the color changing fade. You can only pick a single color. So you have to go back to the tree and use the button to switch it back to the single color changing fade. The app is completely, absolutely worthless. It’s worse than not having any app, so it’s like worse than worthless. Negative value.


So bad it sucked the Christmas Tree’s life force from it.

After accepting the firmware update suggested by the app I now have a force ghost tree. It cycles in white lite going from off to bright. No more color, function, or app integration! And I can’t access the firmware without the app integration so the tree is broken. Pretty upset as it is a 400$ tree... I’ve only had it for 4 hours and would like to return it but the box is MIA. Any suggestions on a fix are greatly appreciated!
