App did not work. Don’t update!

Nice lamp but bad app to control the lamp. Before updating the latest version, the app worked fine. After updating, the lamp cannot be added to the app. The app is unable to connect with the lamp. I restored the app as well as re-installed, but nothing seemed to work.
App update made it worse

I bought a Christmas tree last year. I updated the app this year and now the warm white button makes the lights blue and there is no other way to get the tree to have white light via the app.

Bought my $300 Christmas tree last year, the app worked fine. Put everything up this year and nothing works in the app. I realize you’re discontinuing, but it’s a shame that you let people like me waste our money on a “Bluetooth Christmas tree” for it to only work once.

I’d give it Zero stars if I could. Last year it barely worked, this year it doesn't work at all. Tree is gone every time I reopen the app. It’s pretty obvious Target doesn’t really care if you can utilize the extended functionality the app would allow.

This APP was difficult this year but will not work this year with the updates. Everyone that purchased one needs a refund because $300 is a lot to pay for 1 years use of a tree!! I never thought Target would do something like this to their customers!

I’m highly confused why every time target does an update to this app they only make it worse. STOP updating! The app worked fine and then unfortunately I just updated and now it doesn’t work at all. If you’re going to discontinue the app, at least leave us with a working one.

In response to the latest update and the message that came along with it from Target. . . no, I don’t think you were listening. There was literally no change to the lowest brightness setting, it is still higher than before and the user has less control over the lamp color settings. Also the app is worse now since it won’t even open, even after reinstalling it multiple times. How does a multi-billion dollar company have such inadequate tech. I’d really like to be able to use the lamp that I paid for with the app that was made for it, but I guess that’s just too much to ask for.

Can’t even check these updates out because it is not compatible with iPhone 10. My app doesn’t even open anymore. Will this be fixed??
