Therapy is ok, support is non-existent

EJReviews

Therapist was alright, not great but not bad. Mostly provides brief responses with some guidance but nothing to truly work through challenges to the point of resolution. Support from customer service is non-existent, which is a problem. Continuity of care is something which includes customer service when the care is done through an app. Cancelled my service and will have to start over with a new provider.

Avoid!

I’ve spent weeks begging for help getting technical support after my first appointment was cancelled and my login stopped working. They never helped even after I pleaded for assistance for over a week. Still waiting and going into the holidays without any ever getting help. Can’t believe a health care business would behave like this.

No response. No help. Go with BetterHelp

I have emailed multiple times over the last several days. No response other than an automated response and ads talking about sign up for $100 a week. I’m sorry but who’s going to pay $100 a week for a company that has no support. This is a joke. Update…. It’s been 2 weeks since I emailed several times. Received 5 automated emails asking if I still needed help, telling me to reply and they would get back asap… Still no response from a person. This company is really a joke.

Ignored by Support for months now

I’ve been a loyal customer to Talkspace for over a year now and midway through, I’ve been completely shut out and ignored from support where I require the ability to request receipts to submit to my FSA. Now, I'm being threatened with suspension from my FSA for lacking so many receipts from Talkspace.

Great app

I'm relatively new to this app; I'm very happy thus far. I was able to find a therapist right away and after a couple weeks I'm very impressed. I've been in a really low funk over the last few months and thankfully I reached out for help! Thank you for the help!!

Feels impersonal and not value for money

Therapists unresponsive , moved to a competitor and found therapists and app layout much more beneficial

I would give it “0 stars” if that were an option

My experience mirrors that of many other dissatisfied users. I received one month of unlimited messaging therapy as a gift. For over a week I checked my account and contacted customer service to see if my gift card had been applied to my account, as it did not show that on the app. Finally someone told me that it had been. At this point I’ve wasted almost two weeks. Their providers are also slow to respond and when they do, the responses seem scripted or canned. I switched providers after my first counselor only had me fill out questionnaires only to receive no feedback or fill me in on what was happening. The second counselor seemed promising & after sending her a detailed message (at her request), she finally replied that she had resigned from Talkspace and they would match me with someone else. That was over two weeks ago and the matching agent has ghosted me too. If I had not received this as a gift, I would be more irritated because it’s expensive if you have to pay out-of-pocket. My month will expire soon and so far this app has been no help. I would even say their model seems predatory on people in vulnerable situations.

$400 a month

NOT cheaper than going to therapy. Most counselors are not doctors. If you have health insurance, you are better off going in network. Good for convenience up to a point but not worth the monthly cost.

Rip off

The cheapest price is 89.00/week. For a company supposed to be helping people, and people with mental health struggles are often poor, this company is doing nothing to lessen that burden. It really felt like a funnel to buy buy buy when the matching agent was supposed to be a licensed therapist but they are clearly a trained marketer. Not helpful.

Terrible Refund Policy

Nfghfcv

They have therapists who are rarely ever able to meet and then you are not able to get a full refund if you cancel a few days after actually matching with one. Would not recommend.
