Such a frustrating experience

Is therapy supposed to be frustrating? Are you supposed to have to spend more time communicating with customer service than talking to your therapist? If the answers to the above were yes, this would be the best service ever. My therapist continually cancelled my appointments (she cancelled 3 out of 4) with her, so I only got to talk to her once. When I tried to get assigned to a new therapist, they were unable to find one for me. Their system registers any messages sent as sessions too, so I made sure not to send any messages and only use live sessions. The issue is that my therapist was constantly sending messages. Even though I didn’t respond to them, Talkspace still credited them against my account as sessions. Such a rip off…added stress to my life when I was looking for tools to reduce stress.
Refund now!!!!!

Customer service doesn’t respond or exist - convinced they may not have any such employees. Therapist I was assigned was incompetent, sharing views that don’t exist in any psychology literature. My friends actually encouraged me to report the individual who clearly isn’t qualified. Overall poor, poor experience.

app doesnt discount insurance, pairs you w ‘doctors’ who have no availability and don't respond, and then dont answer basic questions anyway. asked for a refund right away, 3 CS emails and $400 dollars later= zero response.
Support doesn’t exist refund me now

Give me my money back. All of it. Never received a response from support now on day 11 of no support or therapy after giving you thousands of my dollars. Give it back now!

The providers that Talkspace employs are bottom of the barrel. They’ll go through the motions then disappear and leave the person seeking help with nothing. I went through 6+ providers. None of them we’re actually interested in working through anything. Most of it seemed scripted at best, but if they don’t know how to respond, they just ignore you. There is a system of read receipts which was nice to be able to at least see that your provider is getting your messages, but not so great when they’re seeing your posts but not responding for weeks… This app’s service is a JOKE

Over 3000 providers, and yet only 1 to choose from? I filled out everything and spent all this time trying to find someone and they don’t even respond back to me. What kind of medical professional does that?

I signed up on Jan 7 , they charged me the full amount of $285 to my card , then told me that the therapist I selected does not have any appointments until Feb ! I write to customer support same night asking for a refund! Then wrote again after 4 days—haven’t heard from anyone yet!!! It’s gonna be a week!! What terrible customer service! Is none working there??? Is this a scam coz it sure feels like it!!! Would you like me to complain to the CFPB next??? Ridiculous
