Awful

Please continue the Family Locator app. This app has no way to schedule location checks on family members throughout the day. This is really important, because if any family member is ever missing and maybe their phone charged down, the Family Locator app will show the last few locations of a particular family member.

Please add bread crumbs. Only function missing is being able to see previous locations.

Great app but I wish the locator response time was faster. Can take up to 5 plus minutes for a true update. I have an iPhone 6 and 7.

Garbage

???????????)????

Does not give up to date information

Worlds ahead of what it was

I’ve tried several other Apps like this and I know this one is under constant scrutiny by the app creators to make it soar in the next Q, all hands should be happy to pick up this app

Best for my family

VERY UNRELIABLE

Sprint please bring back Family Locater. FL showed up to date locations. This junk shows locations from days ago. Doesn’t update positions. Definitely not paying for this. SPRINT, ARE YOU GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS APP? IT DOES NOT WORK!

GPS alert

Crowndriven

The gps radius is to large and the amount of time it takes to get the alert a child could be long gone. I believe 185 yards is the smallest radius you can have and with that I’m always about 3-5 away before the alerts me that I’m away from home. Way to much time lapse when it comes to dealing with a child.

Amazing Peace of Mind for Our Family

The Sprint Safe and Found App with Smith Micro is simple to use and easy to install. It was a snap to set up and the customer service at Sprint were able to answer every question I had about setting up and using the Geo-Fencing capabilities. This allowed me to set a four square block radius for our son to be at home, go to the park, play with friends. If he left the area we are notified. Also when he goes to his friends or relatives we can set up addition areas. It also works well with our grandmother who is forgetful and tends to wander off. If she goes out of the area we have set it notifies us. I also figures it would work for loved ones who are struggling with addictions like gambling since you could set up geo-fencing to identify areas of town where you would like to be notified if they cross over into. This app is definitely for the entire family and not just for kids. I’ve found numerous ways we can utilize it. The old Family locator app could not do the sort of thing this application can do and it is a relief to know I will get a notification if my child leaves the location that he has told me he was going to. AAA even has a promotion running with Sprint where as a AAA member Sprint covers the cost of the service. It is a win-win. Excellent application Smith Micro Software Inc. And Sprint. The new update improved functionality and made it even better. I can’t wait to see what is next from Smith Micro Software. If I could give it 6 Stars I would!!

Much better than previous app, BUT...

Surge479

This is app is great and has an updated look. However, it fails because you have to have the account holder enter passwords to change notification settings (within the app) to stop it from telling me every time I get to one of the safe areas for example. Additionally, the app does not do remote parental controls well. The app will block all or none on many of the controls, it is much better to just set up the parental controls on the device itself. Also, the app can have its parental control certificate deleted (in addition to uninstalling the app) to effectively remove any parental controls set.

Family Locator was better

Zansgram

It worked with flip phones, which is all I needed it for. I won’t be needing Safe & Found. The rest of our family uses Life360
