Renders Ambit3 Peak useless
welmoe

Ever since the Movescount app got phased out my Ambit3 Peak has been struggling to sync with the Suunto app. My watch shows that it’s connected (Bluetooth logo is lit) but the sync progress circle in the app always gets stuck with 20% to go. I’ve left the app open for 10+ minutes and it can’t finish syncing ONE activity. Come on Suunto! The whole reason why I got an Ambit3 was because it’s one of the best functional adventure watches out there. Now I can’t sync any of my activities because developers fail to address these issues.

Too many fails

Problems with history in the initial versions Connectivity problems in the current version Randomly fails to synch with other platforms Disappointed

Not connecting
noleintx

This app is pretty worthless if you can’t use it. I went through the Movescount to Suunto conversion. Had to “forget” my iPhone7, and reconnect. The watch confirms the connection, but the app doesn’t. Not data transferred, nothing captured. Why bother?

This is the best app I have ever seen, I suggest adding a 3D view of the route as well

Bad app

This app makes the use of my traverse alpha very aggravating. Love the watch but the functionally is useless. Pairing takes entirely too long and route planning is terrible. I guess I'm just going to go to a different platform because I've waited too long for things to get better.

Crap!

This app has been a total bust! Another daylight savings has come and I have to manually set the time on my watch because the app doesn’t update the time when it syncs. With today’s technology, I expect more when I pay so much. I will be selling my Suunto watch and going with a different company.

Can’t connect to the watch
ghxfgnn

The connection between the app and the watch (Ambit 3 Run) has been historically flawed, but lately it’s completely impossible to transfer the information to the app. Hard to believe that a brand that makes top of the line watches is so shockingly bad at making an app work. Maybe it’s time to transfer to an Apple Watch....?

Can’t pair multiple watches

App won’t pair multiple suunto watches. Boo!

Looks nice but...

For Ambit3 you need to still using Movescount. From this app, you can’t change the watch settings or displays. No movie option, at least for the same watch. How am I going to be happy for having an incomplete app for such an expensive watch? It could be a 5-star for me... but you need to first support my watch.
