Very poor design - great potential but bad execution

The fact that they won’t invite both you and your significant other to the same events, ever, and don’t even let you all invite each other to the same events is ridiculously. They need an option to link accounts together. I work in Irvine and my fiancé works in Hollywood, we both live together in LA. Because we are in different cities during the day, we will never get the same event invites and will never be able to invite each other. This app needs a major update to work. Also, we’re obviously not going to ditch each other if only one of us gets cast. They need to be able to link accounts to lower cancellation rates. 2 stars, because the customer support rep was very nice.

What this App does tells you to buy products on Amazon and then they later reimburse you. My first gig was listen to a podcast and leave an honest review. That was cool. But after buying protein powders and misc products for $25, then $30 back, it’s a waste. These are just offers so that the companies can pay for reviews. So in the end you are helping a company misrepresent their products.
Losing its charm fast

Lately on Surkus the app has kind of fallen off. We used to get invites for great events and cool premieres here in NYC. Now all my girlfriend and I get lately are these terrible internet sales reviews where they don't even reimburse close to the amount the products costs and they demand an amazon prime account. That, and a BUNCH of strip club events for $5. We loved Surkus when you first started almost a year ago but we're debating on leaving the app. Are we only getting these because it's winter time or is this something you're working on? We even have selected "I don't like gentlemen club events" yet we still get NOTHING but these invites. If the app can go back to the old invites and actually GOOD events, we would be happy to continue using it. Until then we just decline everything.

If you’ve forgotten about this app or are skeptical, give it a try! They have tons of events ranging from concerts, acting classes, background extras for tv shows, sample sales and more! It’s exclusive access like no other app!
Needs your location and background app refresh on

Surkus knows what city I live in. Why would you need my location services to be on ALL THE TIME and for background app refresh to be on ALL THE TIME. Just send me an email about an event and I can probably make it there on the subway! Giving you my city should be enough to get me cast in events. I’m not gonna drain my battery and give you access to all of my location data even when I’m not using the app.
