I own a relatively new CDX-GT710HD and it isn't contained in the database. As a result, the app is useless and the radio doesn't work with my iPhone.

This app basically keeps track of your Sony devices and presents the support docs in an easy to use interface. You could go to Sony's support site, but that sometimes is difficult to navigate. Simply select your model in the app, add it to your devices, now you have all your Sony products in an easy to use interface. You can easily navigate the support documents for all your devices in one location. Great way to keep support docs close, but also keep track of you Sony products. Great job Sony.

How come Sony has no more phone support? I wanted some real guidance to get my Sony BDP-S6500 connect to my 5.GHZ . I have a daul router it only finds my 2.4 GHZ then the internet video buffers.

This is a great resource to have for Sony product owners. The app couldn't be easier to use starting with the menu design in which users can search for information on a product by selecting a product category or by entering in the model number. Once you have come upon your product you will see a listing of information to select. You will come upon news, alerts, downloads and pretty much any listed information regarding the specific product. The app makes it easy for quick search allowing you to add a product to favorites or just all searches showing up in your history. Users can also go to the Sony Support website directly from the app. Whether you are a PlayStation, Bravia or owner of one or many Sony devices this app is worth a download and may prove to make any troubleshooting experiences easier in the future.

Over the years I have amassed several Sony electronic products. This app is a must have if you have Sony equipment. It is a one stop shop place to find all your Sony equipment user and tech manuals along with FAQs and tech information for each product. The newer Sony electronics allow for software and firmware updates but during the update process little or no information is provided. What do these updates do and what enhancements are provided by the updates? Well, this app will provide those details. And the app is updated frequently by Sony. I can't recommend this App enough.

This basically kicks out what you’d find online if you search your Sony product’s serial number. The only difference was when I was online I had the ability to initiate a chat session which lasted five minutes. And that’s including the rebirth or repair of my new Sony product. They taught me how to reset it to its factory defaults, had me power it off and then restart it. BINGO!! BAM!! DONE!! It works like a charm now, which it should. Because it’s a brand new product, I know I set it up correctly and finally it wasn't like it was inexpensive. High-End Sony Products Can Cost Quite A Bit.
