Great app - Apple Watch version needed

trausner

Thank you for this App and this work out routine. It works wonders. I’ve been a fan for one and a half years now. Though please make an Apple Watch version, so we can leave our phones in the lockers. I just got myself the Apple Watch 3 and it’s unfortunate that I still have to bring my phone just for 5x5. Thanks for your consideration! Paul, a big fan!

Almost perfect.

Jfhvjoefb oje four wrou.

After using this app for three weeks, i have found it to be almost perfect. The lifts are great. The user interface is easy navigate and to use. Very well laid out. The only reason for 4 stars is this... I feel that warming up is an integral part of lifting. Not warming up I feel can be counterproductive, even dangerous. I think the warmup sets should be included without paying. I understand that the developer and others deserve to be paid, that's their right. But it can be dangerous to not warmup. I think from a safety perspective, this should be included. I'm okay with all other features being locked until paid for. I would rather have warmup sets instead of the timer. The timer is a great feature. Why not put that behind the paywall, and swap it for warmup sets? Again, that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. This app is great. Update 11:20:17 This app now syncs with apple health. The help and feedback i received from the dev was prompt and helpful. They even replied back just to check and see if an update solved my issue. It did! So now the app is closer to being perfect. 5 stars for being a perfect as they can get.

Great App!

The strong lifts app is simple and effective in tracking your 5X5 workouts! I’d still recommend reading the stronglifts basics but the app does direct you automatically if you use it!

Very helpful

Knowing what you’re doing at the gym is key and this app rocks!

5x5

This workout is great. Definitely feeling it in my first week and I have lifted plenty of times before

Beginner powerlifting

cfarley89

This is a decent beginners powerlifting routine. I usually replace the secondary chest and back exercises with ones that are translate better to the actual lift they are supplementing. For example instead of using the barbell row I’ll do deficit deadlifts one workout and rack pulls on another. Instead of overhead press I do dumbbell incline press and bench decline. And instead of just increasing 5lbs each workout I’ll go ahead and do a perceived effort approach. I’ll increase weight until I feel that I have one left in the tank and continue my sets at 90% of that weight. One day I could be feeling good and make it up to 250 bench and the rest of my sets would be 225 another day 225 could be difficult and I’ll be working at 205 (always make sure you can do one more rep)

Really helps simplify workouts

devonairTV

The app does everything it promises to do (countdown your rest times, track sets/reps, monitor and recommend weight increases), and really makes your workout... simpler. Not having to think about all of that is great. I just wish there was a version for Apple Watch.

Great Core Strength Program

MatthiastheFirst

Awesome for getting core strength and basic fitness. Just getting back into working out and it helps me get back in overall shape. There used to be an option to add additional workouts like pull ups or pull downs or curls. Would be nice to have the option

Great App
