I Think I like it

Pretty easy to use - still getting used to it- not sure how to enter manual steps when needed

Fabulous Fitbit alternative/replacement

Justin123Justin

I used to use a Fitbit device, and then Apple released the Apple Watch and I didn't want to wear two devices. I found this after a web search and research of my own, and I gave it a try. The community is smaller than fitbit's due to their lack of advertising, but honestly stridekick kicks serious butt! There's all sorts of challenges to join to keep you active, and you can switch devices, as well. The web version is a little more robust than the app but both the app and web versions rock. Stridekick, you rock. :) only suggestion is to add sleep tracking or to read it from apple health so we can have sleep challenges! That would be fun!!!

Great for cross plate form challenges

This is a great app any of the step tracking items weather it's Apple Watch garmin or Fitbit you can challenge any of them!

Worst app ever!

Me2746962

This is the worst app/ website ever. I say this on behalf of myself as a team captain and for my team. Nothing syncs properly. Hope next year my organization finds something better, well any other app/ sure would be better than Stridekick!

[RESOLVED!] - What happened to sync???

BT2884

[Edit from the original post] Okay, I'm impressed that I posted a review and the developers actually did something about it! Seems like y'all made an update and it seems to be syncing MUCH better now! Thank you for listening and responding! I'm popping the review up to 5 stars...simply because I'm able to have step challenges with people on other platforms! Thank you! [Original Post Below]: Stridekick developers...whatever you did to improve sync has officially broken it. For iPhone users the option for background app refresh is disabled as well...I assume you're working on it...because this is frustrating. It's been a fun app that used to sync across platforms, but now it's become very, very bad....as in useless. I will absolutely update this review when fixed.

Rankings

Rscoops

On a group challenge why can't the participants be sorted and ranked ? When I checked how I'm doing I never knew if I were 5th, 15th, 100th ...

Great Product!

I've used the app a couple of time with company challenges. I just recently added other challenges to follow and the comment crack me up and the friendly banter keeps you going. I've walked more than expected because of the alerts from friend comments to just get up!

An easy app

ilikedisney

Stridekick makes the walk challenges that my employer, (UK HealthCare) puts on easy to keep track of the progress that I make. I even use the app in between to sync my information. Next I will try some of the various challenges from other groups to keep in practice.

Great app

Neuroscientist54

I have a Fitbit and use this app so I can compete with my friends who have apple watches. It's great! We've not had any real issues, but my only complaint is that I don't get notifications when we post messages to each other in the app. I've tried to turn them on, but I still don't get them. Not a big deal though, because you see them when you log in.

Won't complete update.

PugDog

An OK app for steps competition, but the update I received this weekend got hung up. Still hasn't completed. Update: I have come to the conclusion that all of these competition apps (and there are many) are pretty lame. Judging individual results by steps alone is pretty stupid. What is a step? It varies by individual, type of tracker, how the person takes their steps, how big(tall) they are, their stride, the terrain (hilly, flat, treadmill) on which they are walking/running, etc, etc. What about distance, elevation, heart rate, calories burned? Not even considered!! Until better metrics are use to adjudicate these completions count me out.
