I updated the app today and after it installed I restarted my phone, tried to open State Farm App and it now states that it can’t locate a network, nothing else has changed, before the update it always opened and connected! Not sure what has changed unless your trying to force people to use WI-FI to connect now, if so not good I can’t get that out in the country!

I had a credit card for 4 years. Without explaining or any warning they removed ALL access to MY account from the app, with no ability retrieve it, thank you State Farm!

Even though I enjoy talking with my insurance agent over the phone I really enjoy the app because it allows me to see what my bill looks like ahead of time and allows me to make different payment options. The Drive Safe and Save app also is a great tool and has successfully helped me save money.
New update is terrible

Loved the SF app for banking. Now it’s basically useless aside from making my insurance payment. Please GO BACK to letting us use the app for banking as well. USBank is crap! :(

Statefarm updates this app constantly. Statefarm developers FORCE you to update the app prior to using. It’s not an option to continue without updating. *Every* time if needed to log into my account and either find current coverage, validate payment received, looking for new coverage I have to update the App. I needed to use roadside assistance on a long road trip, I was in a remote area with poor cellular coverage. I opened my Statefarm App and it said a new version is available, then forced me to update to the newer version of the App. Unfortunately the download never completed. I ended up having to call a family member to get the phone number to call for assistance. In times of need, Statefarms app is not a good neighborl.
