No OAuth login support

LowlyAppUser

I would have never signed up for SquareSpace using my Google account if I had known that I couldn’t use any of their mobile apps! I have spoken to SquareSpace about this issue multiple times and it seems they don’t care. It’s really not hard to implement OAuth in a mobile application - just lazy on their end. How is this not a unified platform?!

Superb support staff

Although the app itself seem pretty simplistic and doesn’t have the whole package, their website works wonders. Also their customer specialist, Shauna, was extremely helpful and informative. Good job guys! Definitely going to subscribe to Squarespace’s service either for my business or for personal branding.

Could use more functionality

unhappy with Itunes right now

Allows for easy text editing and inserting images, but other functionality is missing. You cannot insert code blocks or embed maps.

Cannot use <code> tags?!? I need it most!

texpilot

I haven't gone live with my tech blog yet, and was hoping to use my iPad Pro to create a lot of content since my MacBook Pro took a dump (after 6.5 years). But the majority of my existing posts already use the <code> tag, and from this App I can't create them NOR can I edit or even VIEW the content wrapped in <code> tags that were made in the web client. When will this limitation finally be lifted? This app is practically useless to me as it is now. Squarespace’s reply was: “You can actually add any kind of HTML into a Markdown Block which the app currently supports.” To,do this I will have to edit all of my pages to convert from using Code Blocks to Markdown Blocks. I shouldn’t have to rework my site content — which only uses SUPPORTED Squarespace functionality — to ensure my site is compatible with the App. It should be the other way around: the APP should support standard Squarespace functionality. Period.

Limited

Squarespace charges a lot of money for their services and it’s broken in its mobile mode. I’m trying to have most of my worflow from the iPad but from google chrome it won’t add items (images, videos, spacers, etc) to any given post. So I tried this app. I can add images now (at leat) but still no spacers. Dissapointed. I’ll look for a better service to host my blog. I see the reviews here (I’m clearly not the only one) and it’s funny to see the delevoper “responding to their reviews” but really not having anything done. Actions count much more than words, dudes.

It’s ok

The biggest thing about this is you can’t share to or from this app with outside apps. That is one complaint but a big one.

Session expired

serene and impatient

Developers, we do not need or want to be logged out of our apps. I do not want to have to go look up my password every time I use this app. Useless.

In need of an upgrade

franklyhonestly

Terrible app for blogging on the go. You can upload only one photo at a time and there is no support for gallery blocks. It's disappoining because I was looking forward to travel blogging with this app. Maybe Wordpress would have been a better option.

Stupid app

Pvp saaan!!?????

It won't let me sign in stupid app

Meh

The app is buggy, has design flaws, and requires an Internet connection to even draft a post, which makes it impossible to use when traveling or somewhere without Internet. It does however work, usually as intended, so with a bit more love it could really be useful.
