Work well until last update

Meganbrooown

I have been using this app quite regularly. There needed to be slight improvements to make the functionality better, but it was not a deal breaker. Since the last update it keeps crashing. It also says that edits or publications fail. On my app a new posts status will say published, but on my actually website it is not there. The post isn't even showing up in my drafts on the webpage! Please try to fix this bug!

Excellent for testing!

The Magical Mr. Bray

I'm glad this app is out there! It's great for testing my blog drafts. Be even more cool if they could let you preview podcasts post.??

Makes updating my blog quick & easy

Edmercado

Love it. I don't have to use the desktop for blog postings. It's super easy updating my blog from my mobile devices. It used to have an option for updating my connected social under the settings button. It drove me crazy that I couldn't find it with the current app version. But I was going to publish a post when suddenly the connected social accounts button popped up. This is even better because I don't forget to include them. This allows my followers through my social accounts to know immediately when a blog post is published. So I can draft a blog post on this app or another app and then paste it here, hit publish, push "on" for my connected social accounts, and it's published and shared quickly without much effort.

Too Closed and Too Glitchy

WriterboyOnTour

I have to copy and paste content from other apps into this one, because the app cannot receive "send to app ..." in the iOS share sheet. It's clumsy because it's far too closed compared to Wordpress and others. Also, I've lost data using this app. Thankfully I write in other (better) apps first. That said, I love Squarespace, but their apps and (web) user interface leave much to be desired.

Great for news page

Goatturkey

This app is amazing for the news page (unfortunately that's the only thing I believe this works with). But what is truly funny is that it is easier to use this app then do this on the computer. This app lets you quickly select the old tags you have previously used.

Rarely updated to add iOS features

Bogie0000

This app lags far behind the state of iOS apps. It got multitasking support two years after the feature was available. It’s now over a year since the option to upload files from other locations other than the camera roll should have been added and the feature isn’t here.

Needs a few more things to be a desktop replacement.

iOS 11 Update: Well, thank you SquareSpace for the Multitasking and Drag + Drop support for my iPad Pro. Now, if I could only get support for Embed Blocks and the ability to format quotes like I can on the web client, that would be something. Medium can do all this on their iOS app, just need that extra bit of functionality to really make my iPad Pro the centerpiece of my blogging workflow. iOS 10 version: I've used this for some light editing in a pinch. I like having this option when Safari isn't as responsive. I'm disappointed that Embed Blocks aren't supported in the app. Being able to cross post to Medium would also be helpful. That'd be huge for my blogging needs. With the new iPad Pros out and iOS 11 around the corner, this app could be much more useful than it is. From the looks of it, it doesn't support Split View or Slide Over either in iOS 10. Hope this changes.
