I firmly believe that if I'm using a paid product (i.e. Squarespace,) the company who makes that product should facilitate the process of getting content on to one's site across all mediums. Especially given how popular mobile devices have become over the years. This application is the most daunting and inelegant way of drafting, editing and publishing content to your site. It's dubious. Why is the action of adding a source link so obscure? Why is there no option to make sure the title of a particular post points to said link? Why can I edit some posts, but not others? I tried to edit a post that I made some modifications to via the website, I come back to the app, click edit and I'm greeted by a blank page. Tf is that even about? I have literally considered moving my site to Tumblr because it's evident that Squarespace had made no initiative to accommodate it's users that prefer to manage their workflow on a mobile device.

When I first downloaded this app it worked fine and now it never ever works whyyyy

Yes, the app does crash occasionally and have some bugs as the negative reviewers have noted above, but for me it has mostly been an incredibly easy and convenient way to write and share my blog while on tour. Yes, you pay for squarespace, but you are paying for a domain, and a great DIY development tool. I don't think squarespace is required to provide software across all mediums, but the fact that they do, and it's free, is actually pretty sweet.

I've been waiting for Squarespace to make this app great for years now. I love Squarespace, and working with your site from a browser on a Mac is great, but I love iOS because of the app way of working. Squarespace has yet to update this app for the new iPad Pro, so it looks awful all blown up like a kids app. It's one of those apps that has so much potential and you really want to like it, but it's just a big bag of hurt. Please fix this Squarespace and make it as great as the web version.

That would be tremendous to add as an update. Anyone know a work around?

Fine if you're making a quick post with no images. Has a lot of issues posting images. Definitely needs some work.

I've spent a good 20 frustrating minutes trying to upload a single image. It acts as if it loads and then nothing. I've noticed a few bugs in the building platform as well- even in Chrome. Sometimes it works and then you start a new page, and it doesn't. No real reason.

Don't get me wrong. I love Squarespace but the app is pretty terrible. You can't edit HTML, no iPad Pro support (really guys?), no embedding of audio players such as Soundcloud, posting images is extremely difficult, bugs everywhere, and it crashes. Just poorly executed, which is just sad because the world is a mobile world and not being able to properly update your site on the go is just inexcusable.

This app is laughable. You cannot write an entire post from start to finish along with adding all of the elements that you would like. There needs to be a way to edit my site on mobile, it's crazy that I can't even do it through the site itself.
