The app was working ok until latest update. Now can't search for flights that are supposed to be available. It worked for August but I don't want to fly till April. Also couldn't book flights with app because my 4 year old daughter who is flying with us was listed and it kept saying unaccompanied minor. So I had to call to use my points. Now only have myself listed as a passenger on the app. Wish it showed everyone I booked for as well.

When I click on flight status why doesn't it look at my reservations flight status? Why do I have to enter my flight number every time. Come on southwest. Make it easy on us here
Why won't my next flight show up on my manage flight screen?

I've been using this app for almost 5 years now and have had really good luck and recommended it to many people. I'm not sure if this an issue with the latest version but two weeks ago my upcoming flight didn't show up on my manage flight screen and my next two flights are not showing up either. I have to go through "My Trips" which is an inconvenience because when I check it in already takes you though multiple screens to actually check it and this added time is ridiculous and unnecessary. And honestly, when you pull up the app and click the "Check In" that's showing, why does it take you to another screen where you have to select that again? I miss the app version that automatically checked me in as I thought that was a benefit of being an A-List member. Maybe it wasn't as convenient if customers checked in but didn't show up but let's be honest, if the customer checks in but doesn't board by a certain time and the flight is full, they stake standby passengers. At the minimum, this app needs and update so the net flight actually shows up on the manage flights screen and one less check in page.
Boarding pass problem with delayed flight

Generally the app works well. I had one major problem with it on displaying boarding passes. Twice I had delayed flights where I opened the app to get my boarding pass and it was no longer available (presumably because the flight was supposed to have already taken off). Fortunately in both cases I had saved the pass to my iPhone Apple Wallet and got it there.

Convenient for checking into flight but that's about it. Checking flight status is next to impossible and setting up an alert is impossible. Why do I have to enter my own flight number to check status? Why isn't it looking at my reservation? Why can't I save/create an alert for a particular flight to get updated on departure / arrival?

REALLY needs the feature push notifications for timely gate change updates. PLEASE! Also, when u have ur boarding pass, 'sending' the boarding pass would REALLY benefit from being able to pull from ur contacts for email and telephone numbers - right now u have to manually enter that information which more often than not means u have to leave the SW app and go to Contacts to grab that information - UGH!

I did not get past the second page of personal information that the app demanded in order to create an account. It's just not worth it.
