So Disapointed

I received the fancy noise-cancelling WF-1000ZM3 as a gift. For a $200+ item I was excited about the noise cancelling, ambient sound pass-through, high sound quality, etc. Unfortunately the app makes them function worse than my $15 wireless earbuds. Connection on my iPhone 8 is terrible: always dropping (including every time I actually answe a phone call!!). Right now I’m on a plane and even though the earbuds are connected via Bluetooth to my phone and playing music, this app cannot connect to them so I cannot turn on the noise cancelling feature. I’m hoping I can exchange them for Apple AirPods.

Asolute garbage app. Earphones are great, the companion app, which is necessary for full functionality, especially the equalizer.

I’m running iOS 13.3.1 and the app is not useable. Constant crashing-freezes. ??♂️ headphone are great however.

My wife purchased Sony headphones, excellent sound and noise canceling. We just downloaded the app, this utility is prefect for a free app. Think I’ll invest in a pair of headphones for myself :)

Asides for the cheap materials used for the headphones, the application is no better, being unable to update the headphones’ firmware, I was not able to use the headphones with intent & purpose & immediately returned them within the twenty four hours I have purchased them. Awful application & awfully cheap overpriced headphones. The sound quality was subpar & muffled & the bass was dull. The noise cancelling optimization option in the application is a joke, I was still able to hear absolutely everything outside of it.
Auto change my phone's volume too loud.

This headphone has its own volume, and rarely sync with phone's volume. And when it sync, it changes phone's volume, not its own volume, which is disrepectful to user's current preference. In many case it make the volume too loud it hurts my ear. This product demonstrates how the company leaders never use their own product.

I like the app, but it could look better. The font needs to be changed and so does the overall look and feel. I hope Sony listens and bring life to the app.

The app matches the headset. Both are terrible. I bought this as a headset for airplanes since I am flying a lot. They created different noise canceling scenarios. None of them works well. The noise canceling capabilities are really poor compared with the Bose system. I deeply regret having bought this junk and will throw it away.
