You have to agree to data collection to use headphones fully now. What next, data collection to use my my toaster? Because 80% of flyover country folks don’t care, we all have to get it. Disgraceful. Be sure to opt out of arbitration. Arbitration for using headphones. Keep pushing it Sony, then eat your backlash with a smile. Even the flyover folks are starting to wake up.

I hate the notifications. I can’t figure out how to turn them off. Great headphones, but I like them because they cancel distractions, that is, outside distractions, but the notifications... awful.

Why the hell does this even need an app to connect? The headphones themselves are phenomenonal and super comfortable, but God forbid you have an iPhone without a headphone jack, these things straight up do NOT connect to your phone, so I hope you have a dingle because the wireless mode doesn't work at all. Your phone won't find them because the wireless was built by actual monkeys. Actually scratch that, monkeys would have done a better job.

Pathetic Quality control Update: New update (19-Dec-2019) and still not working on IOS 13.3 11 pro This is unbelievable, and they updated it 4 days ago and it could not get it to work!!! Update: 1 week on and still no fix to the crashing on IOS 13 on iphone 11
Doesn’t work on plane

Whenever the app updates you need to accept a privacy policy to eat into the app. The only problem is you can’t click accept when you have no service, like on a plane which is exactly what these headphones are marketed for. Terrible design.
Just Bought sony wf 1000xm3. Returning.

Using app to set up new 1000xm3. Only connects to the headphones intermittently. The noise cancelling has to be set up in the app so the best feature of the headphones is worthless since this app will not connect to the headphones. Returning these for something that works.

Headphones are comfortable and noise canceling is awesome, but recent update won’t even let me access the app and keeps crashing or shows up blank with no options to adjust the sound quality or ambient sound function to my liking... so sad.
Won’t even open.

Got some wireless Sony noise canceling headphones for Christmas. Headphones work great so far, but how do you sell a product with a completely non-functioning app? Won’t even open. Disappointed. Fortunately I can connect to the headphones without the app but lord it’s frustrating. Update: app will open on my iPad, but not on my iPhone 7.
