This is the old app. Spent way too much time trying to trouble shoot why the smartphone icon was missing. Download the mySolarEdge app.

I have been using this app for a couple months now and most of the advertised features don’t work and when I connect to the inverter status soon as I leave that page the connection is lost. I can’t see the panels production or anything beyond basic info. This is both on my iPhone and iPad and the solar edge web page

Stopped working

I used this app almost daily until yesterday. It has stopped working completely on both my phone and my iPad. My husbands too.

Refresh is broken

Pull to refresh always indicates updated in last few minutes but that is not true. Force kill and restart is the only way to get fresh data. Some says it’s the only way to get today’s info as it sometimes is stuck a day or so back Potential is there and looks nice but fix the refresh please

Love the Aesthetic of the Update- but it’s unreliable

The app was updated several weeks ago and the new layout visual is superb and intuitive. The app, however, now has become a glitch-laden mess. It won’t often show current day and won’t reflect real time production, always showing several hours previous. While the previous version had its own quirks, at least it generally worked. Sadly, it’s like having a lovely new car that won’t run. It it was even remotely reliable it would be a five star rating.

Not enough panels to compensate for energy used so technically payments for panels and electricity have equaled out to a double power bill. My panels were supposed to be enough but a reduction of 20-40 dollars a month doesn’t even come close to paying for panels let alone reduction in electricity bill. Just couldn’t give lower star.

Purchased this home in August 2018 with this system installed. Seems to work very well. The site keeps telling me to do the update. I have done the but still get the update notice. Why?
