I was trying to see my account number and my routing number, impossible in this app. I have other banks and honestly this app is the worst.

I have been a member of SMCU credit union for over 40 years.Other than securing my money and investments. A bank is it’s representatives and how they handle their customers and the knowledge required in our ever-changing banking system.

Try to sign in, click remember device, choose a device name, authenticate using phone, leave app, App needs login again and doesn’t remember a device, try again to sign in, click remember device, choose same device name, Authenticate, try to enter code, declines with a message that device name already exists! No please, continue spending tons of money on building great UI functionality is crap. Way to go.

When the pandemic hit, San Mateo Credit Union reduced their credit card interest rate to 2.99% for two or three months, allowed no fee balance transfers then later gave another 4.99% interest rate for purchases for one year. SMCU is trying to benefit the community rather than make a profit. Highly recommend.

It’s so frustrating to use. If you use a password manager on iPad this thing doesn’t work. The username field is terrible (it capitalizes the first letter). The password field doesn’t work with a password manager. You need to manually copy-paste. I’m gettin pretty sick of SMCU’s bad security (they also don’t support U2F). Can I really trust a credit union with software this bad? With these kind of obvious oversights, how many non-obvious problems are there?

Great for quick access to accounts when concerned about funds being misappropriated. I check my accounts frequently.
