So Worth It!

This is an amazing little tool. Just be sure to keep all of your profile & account information all current. If you have to change your passwords to any linked accounts, be sure to remember to quickly open this handy app and go into your account information and update that information. It's your own fault if the account loses its connection to the retailers it's monitoring for you if you fall to update the login password here as well bc automatically your accounts can't sync properly any longer. So, don't forget that tidbit and you win and love it!!

Awful update!!! And now, just as bad as before.

7/12/2018: Today's edition: Slice shows I'm getting a pair of blue Saucony trail running shoes. When I go to "View email," I find that I'm getting a book, which is what I ordered. 7/7/2018: Slice shows another package just south of Waynesburg, PA. USPS shows it at Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Could there possibly be a more maladroit app than this one? 7/4/2018: Okaaay! So, version 7.6, dated July 2. Just as in previous versions, Slice cannot show you where your package is. This is absolutely amazing, even supernatural! Today Slice shows item in Lakeland, Florida. Slice seems to have some sort of I can only guess is a fixation or erotic fascination with Florida, since prior versions have also put many packages there which were actually elsewhere in these great United States. And in this case, too, USPS shows item in Phoenix. That is in Arizona, for the geographically challenged members of the Slice team. Go for it guys! Bunch of true winners! 6/20/2018: App shows item in Buffalo, NY; USPS shows it in Memphis. 5/19/2018: App shows item in Florida; USPS shows it in Pennsylvania. 3/15/2018: App will not let me show an item as delivered nor will it delete item. It will also not let me add a new FedEx shipment, although it accepts the tracking number and identifies it as FedEx. This has to be the most incompetent app I have on my iPad. Just silly bad. 1/28/2018: Slice now shows item in Silver Spring, MD, whereas USPS puts it in Baltimore. But that's only 50 miles away, which is not bad for this app! 1/27/2018: Slice map shows item in Florida, USPS shows it in Detroit. I give up. 12/13/2017: Slice map shows item in upstate New York--somewhere in the Adirondacks--USPS shows it at NYC Metro Distribution Center. 12/4/2017: Slice map shows item in Richmond, VA; UPS site shows it in Hagerstown, MD. 11/20/2017: Slice map shows new package in Columbus, Ohio; FedEx site shows it in Halethorpe, Maryland. Good work, Slice! 11/16/2017: Slice map shows package in Ellenwood, Georgia. FedEx app shows the same. Got it right this time. Hooray! Update 11/13/2017: Still does not show package location correctly. Today the Slice map shows package in Odenton, Maryland whereas the UPS site itself shows the item in Hagerstown, about 75 miles away. Takes forever to load new info on shipped purchases. Does not show locations reliably. Misses items shipped, so that you must load the data in manually. Does not picture any of the items in my most recent purchase history but just shows a generic non-picture. I have nothing good to say about this latest update. Update August 19: Twice now the map feature has shown a USPS package in Florida when the USPS site itself reported it was in Denver in one case, and in another case somewhere else, but not in Florida. What is this obsession with Florida? August 22 update: This update now shows package at my post office but does not show my location, as it formerly did. The USPS site itself shows the package as in transit, not at my post office. These locations are largely just fictional. Today, August 24, the app shows my location as in Connecticut (I am in Maryland), and the package still at my local post office, whereas according to USPS it has not arrived. August 25: App correctly shows item out for delivery. Incorrectly shows me living in Connecticut. Sort of a disaster. Once upon a time this app was accurate and reliable. No more.

STILL needs improvement

When tracking information for a package is entered, it doesn’t allow you to keep track of the package within the app, it always takes you to the carrier’s website. The Android app allows you to keep track of the app within the app. Would like to see that changed for iOS.

I used to love it

I had always appreciated the app keeping me informed of my shipments, but for the last week the app won’t open. It starts the facial recognition login and immediately shuts down.

At first I loved slice. Then all of a sudden it’s not even worth having. Doesn’t pick up any of my orders. Tried connecting Amazon and it says their working on a bug. But have been since Jan 2018.

BEST Delivery Pkg Notify App Ever!!!

Renée724

I hardly EVER leave reviews here on the App Store, but I just can’t say enough about how AWESOME & accurate this app is at notifying me of my package deliveries. This became especially apparent to me after I purchased the Deliveries app a few months ago. Everyone was talking about how amazing the Deliveries app was & how they couldn’t live without it. So, I went ahead & paid for it based on others’ recommendations. Compared to Slice? It’s awful!! You have to type in all your package info and even after doing that, Deliveries is STILL not as fast or accurate as Slice. I tested this out recently by tracking the same package using both apps. Not only did I NOT have to “tell” Slice that a package was on its way (it automatically picked the info up from my email), but I received a notification on my Apple Watch that the package had arrived. It took Deliveries a few hours later to update. My advice: save your money!! Slice is FREE & is hands-down THE best package delivery app available to date.
