Skype for Business

This is a kludgy application. Long ways to go to catch up with Cisco Jabber. If you want to present material you have to have Onedrive launched on IPad, will not present PDFs or take advantage of native PowerPoint presentation features (notes and ink). Should be able to launch native app like PowerPoint or Word, and present the contents of screen or put the native app in presentation mode and present that via Skype of Business. Lacking the collaboration / team mode for remote feedback and input.

Works fine for me.

Moving to MDM. Hope it works good within the container.

Please get multitasking support

The app works well enough, however for being a business app I am disappointed that I am unable to multitask with it. Would love to see split-view, slide over, and even picture in picture for video calls.

Great App!

Is it worth your time?

It is too bad that Google is always copying Apple and Microsoft. Google hangouts has nothing on Skype. I do wish Skype would have a component like Google voice. Please Microsoft add a Microsoft Voice for free. Start offering more services for free and bing will be used more. Somehow integrate bing with office 365. Then, you will gain more users for Bing.

Love this app

I've noticed that the negative reviews are due to difficulty signing into the app, I believe that is due to network settings and not the app itself. lync 2010 was replaced with this app when we moved to office 365, I signed in without any issues. The app is easy to use and the desktop / mobile app integration is good and I'm sure it will get better as updates rollout.

Worst time of my life

This app just doesn't work. It doesn't sync, it's slow, nothing compared to even some free ones. Can't believe we're paying for it.

Awesome

This application is improving a lot every time.

Just terrible

Daaron

So many problems: Poor voice quality; nobody can understand what anyone is saying, especially if the Internet connection isn't perfect. App crashes frequently, often right after starting. Meetings sometimes appear, sometimes do not. The list of Recent meetings is always incomplete. Hope you don't get a voice call during a meeting, as it will interrupt the conference (!) and you won't be able to rejoin successfully. Conferences always start in mute mode, and since there's no audio announcement (beep) when someone joins, you don't know who else is there until everyone starts saying "hello" all at once. Just a terrible app experience and a terrible service.
