Simplenote is a simple way to make list and personal notes! If u don’t want anyone to see ur notes u can set up a passcode and a Touch ID!

Like other happy reviewers I have used, at first enjoyed, and then struggled with Apple Notes (alternately wonderful / bloated and slow), Evernote, et al. I still use and appreciate Toodledo’s Notes, although the fact that its iOS app requires a passcode slows me way down, and the notes themselves are hard to navigate and enter info. Enter Simplenote. Although I haven’t yet seen a counterpart app for my Mac, I am extremely grateful that it fits the bill so perfectly when I need to get text down in a jiff. It opens with no lag, the interface has none of the issues that plague Toodledo’s Notes, and it has never crashed on me. What more could you ask for?

I needed a place to write on my phone, and since Evernote wasn’t cooperating with me, and my main writing desktop app wasn’t working, a friend of mine recommended Simplenote. It’s support of markdown is very helpful, and it has a chronological layout that helps me access notes quickly. I frequently use the publish feature to share my works with my friends. The only problem I have with this app is that I’d like the font to be changeable on the previews. It still deserves five stars. If you’re reading this, I highly recommend getting this app!

I have downloaded and tried over 30 note apps and this is by far one of the best. It's simple/ uncomplicated, smooth, elegant, perfect except for one thing I wish it had- integration w/ Siri. I have to use another app for that reason. Please add a "Hey Siri add entry to Simplenote".

Use it on iOS and Android for years. Syncs perfectly with NVAlt (Notational Velocity) on Mac and other apps on Windows. Highly recommend!

I needed something that was simple and clean but had more features than just the note app. This also has a Mac app for when I need to take longer notes and see them on my phone too. 5/5!

I love everything about this app! Except that sometimes I can’t log in because the passcode keyboard doesn’t pop up :/ PLEASE FIX!
