It just works. Fast. – Simplenote Review

Like other happy reviewers I have used, at first enjoyed, and then struggled with Apple Notes (alternately wonderful / bloated and slow), Evernote, et al. I still use and appreciate Toodledo’s Notes, although the fact that its iOS app requires a passcode slows me way down, and the notes themselves are hard to navigate and enter info. Enter Simplenote. Although I haven’t yet seen a counterpart app for my Mac, I am extremely grateful that it fits the bill so perfectly when I need to get text down in a jiff. It opens with no lag, the interface has none of the issues that plague Toodledo’s Notes, and it has never crashed on me. What more could you ask for?
