Could not function without this app. Allows you to organize things the way you think - no matter how you think. Being able to go back to older versions of a note (before I inadvertently deleted something I later needed, has been a life saver on more than one occasion.

This thing is fast, simple, and syncs to all my devices without flaw and without noticeable delay. I don’t know of another app that will do the job this well. I’m using it as I would a note pad. Something onto which I can scribble reminders, thoughts, and observations with—not quite the ease of pencil and paper, but getting there. And whether I’m on my phone, my iPad, my computer, in my office, my home, or my car, my notes are with me. Pencil and paper can’t do that. Question: Why is it free?

This app is wonderful. I love that it updates on all my devices. Easy to use. How did I ever manage without it? No more sticky notes everywhere.

Simplenote is hard to fully describe, because it somehow adds up to more than just the sum of its parts. It’s list of features is not a long one, but those features are useful ones instead of fluff, and they work so well together that some other note apps and “writing apps” seem clumsy and slow by comparison. And kudos to Automattic for not messing up a good thing. They have fine-tuned Simplenote and made improvements to it over the years, but they’ve left the way it looks and operates mostly unchanged. Simplenote deserves all the glowing reviews.

Fast, lightweight, powerful, and cross-platform, SimpleNote has earned a place as one of my 4 persistent menu apps. It functions beautifully on my iPhone 6 and pops up immediately on my desktop, too. Simply one of the best and most essential apps out there.

I have dozens of notes containing information that I need at my fingertips as well as information that I may need at some point. Search function is very helpful.

iPhone notes wasn't good enough. Now, it's not good enough, again!

I held off buying an iPhone until notes would sync. I rely on 1,000's of notes for necessary information. Then iPhone would sync with my Outlook Notes. Now, it doesn't sync with Notes. …again. Apple wants me to put this information in THEIR cloud. I do not want it in the cloud. I still rely on Outlook. The iCloud/Outlook connection has NEVER worked. It prevents Outlook from checking email other than when starting Outlook. Even manually checking for new email hoses Outlook. Simplenote has solved a lot of this, and I have used it for years. And, it syncs really fast! Thanks!
