My agent showed me his scores and after logging 4 trips I have almost the exact score in all categories which feels odd to me. I have a 43% for time of driving and a 73% for speeding. I absolutely never speed! My agent had about a 43% for time of day driving because he drives during commuting hours and all of my 4 trips were in the evening outside of commuting times. My renewal is in less than 2 months and if I don’t get my 100 trips in before that date then I won’t receive my full discount for a full year, which makes this app feel pointless, not to mention inaccurate. I’ll keep the app until my renewal date but if I don’t get the trips in I’ll delete it and try it again closer to my next renewal, maybe.
Braking algorithm is poorly designed.

My neighborhood has many 20 and 25 MPH streets with large speed bumps. We also have lots of steep hills with stop signs at the bottoms. Many stop sign areas also have pot holes. I suspect that all of these conditions are inaccurately logged as emergency braking. With no instances of hard braking, I see braking scores in the 50-65 range.

This app is exceptional in a lot of ways. My wife and I enjoy the “friendly competition” of being the better driver. I only wish it showed our monthly savings as an amount instead of a percentage. We have stopped texting while driving or at stops. Thanks Farmers!

Once downloaded you don’t don’t have to do a thing. Very user friendly. Makes you aware of your driving habits.

This app automatically assumes if you’re moving, your driving. It does very little to differentiate drivers from passengers unless you go in manually and change it. So if you carpool and use your phone as a passenger, you’ll get scored as the driver. -High data usage -location services alway on Save yourself the privacy!!! Shop around for insurance
