I have been paying $7 a month for a very similar app because I have a teenage driver and want to make sure there isn’t any phone use while driving. I’m very happy that I can now get the same thing for free and it will save me money on my insurance. The only down fall is needing to document when you are not the driver so someone else’s crumby driving doesn’t effect your rate. Great idea Farmers!

As a long time Farmer's customer I decided to try this. So far I have not been able to. When I first opened it up it asked for my cell phone, which I gave. It said I wasn't registered. But there was no place to register and I've never been told that I need to register. I emailed my agent who then registered me. I then entered my cell phone number which it recognized and it said it would send me a text to verify me.It hasn't done so yet. Maybe I'll keep tryingbut so far this is highly unimpressive.

Does not know what the speed limits are, then says you are speeding. Not every town is 20-30 mph on their Main Street.

I’ve been using the signal app for several weeks now and it’s great. I didn’t realize that I brake hard and surprised that I don’t speed as much as I thought. It does keep you honest with respect to cell phone use while driving. It’s also nice to be able to track mileage and vehicle maintenance reminders as well. Overall great working app and good insight into your driving habits.

I literally place my phone in my glove compartment while driving and this app claims that only 85% of the time I am driving distraction free.

I put his app on my phone and my wife’s phone and it’s been lowering our car insurance rates in Colorado- where everyone else’s rates are going up.

I've been with Farmers for many years and this is a wonderful tool they're offering. It has made me more aware of my driving habits and I no longer use my phone while driving. What a wakeup call it was to me!

I love that I don't have to have a separate app to log my business miles!! Being notified of recalls is also a helpful!!
