ScreenLogic Connect is free iOS app published by Pentair Water Pool and Spa, Inc

Hasn’t been updated in 3 years

Scaling is off and I can’t image there haven’t been any security issues over 3 years. Disappointed with the cost to use this app only to see devs put no money into it or at least ensure its scaled correctly for newest phones. Side note, pentair is a total scam. Requires a kit with rf only to connect to your router. Kit has two receivers and lan connection. If one receiver breaks, you have to buy a new kit since the two units only speak to each other based on serial number and frequency. Parts are not built for weather. So something that should be one unit, is three and cost 400-600 for a new kit. Shame.

Great when it Works

I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app numerous times on both my iPhone and pPad. It will works for a few weeks and then stop controlling. It still connects to the transmitter but will not control the pool. Very frustrating.

Confusing

App is confusing. Not intuitive.

Garbage

You’re lucky if this app connects to the system half the time. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting… turn Wi-Fi on and off on my phone, disconnect and reconnect Wi-Fi to the house, delete and re install the app, and disconnect and re connect the entire pool system. Nothing works consistently. Sometimes the app works and a lot of the time it doesn’t. After my research, it seems this is a very common issue among users. Good luck with this poorly developed app.

Works poorly

Since I phone was upgraded it keeps saying “waiting for connection”

App does not work when internet service provider changed

CzarinaTx

We switched from spectrum to Google fiber and the app stopped working. All it says is “waiting for WIFI” or “connecting” but it doesn’t actually connect.

Mesh WiFi Users BEWARE!

swich2mac

Doesn’t work PROPERLY with mesh WiFi systems. The app will connect to the protocol adapter and you will be able to connect to your pool amd spa. However, anything you want to control such as pool pump, waterfall, lights, spa blower, and heater will not respond to commands. I removed the Asus AirMesh system and reconnected my stand alone TP-Link wireless router and everything works as designed. I hope this gets resolved soon, more and more users are transitioning to mesh WiFi systems.

Local connections broke when upgraded my iOS

My local connection stopped working when I upgraded my mobile devices to iOS 14 and up. Please fix this!!

No longer supported

_Wes_

App hasn’t been updated in 2 years and it no longer supports iOS 14. Completely broken and unusable. Just locks when you turn open the app. What a joke.

Completely unreliable

loveashopper

I updated my pool equipment with this system and repeatedly when I turn it on remotely and come home it’s not actually on as well as when I turn it on locally or try to turn it off it doesn’t turn off and it stays on all night even though I turn it off with my app. I would definitely not use this system again. I have called for help and they offer no assistance.
