Lifestyle | Free | Pentair Water Pool and Spa, Inc | iPhone, iPad, iPod |
Pentair customers with IntelliTouch, EasyTouch, and EasyTouch PL4/PSL4 pool/spa control systems that want to use their iPhone/iPad/iPod touch or Echo devices must purchase the ScreenLogic interface kit (PN 522104) available from your local pool equipment retailer.
this app is a permanently flawed piece of garbage, causing endless despair and wasted money heating bodies of water even when the app affirms all heating systems are off. you will hate this app and come to resent the people who made it.
Sometime I open the app and give me someone else’s pool!? Different layout, temp, schedule, rpm’s etc, I can even turn things off and my pool just continues as programmed. Takes me 10 times signing in to get my pool back
The app is fine. It provides basic functionality. The application is in need of a face lift. It hasn’t been updated in 3+ years. The application is missing necessary notifications. For example, alerting the user that the pump started/stopped or when temperature reaches a certain level. Having to login to the app frequently to get necessary information is a pain.
Would sure love a way to toggle disable/enable the schedules instead of adjusting times or flat out deleting them.
Not sure how a company the size of Pentair has a technology this unreliable. I guess it doesn’t surprise me because the brand new pump we installed didn’t work either and had to be replaced within two weeks. You would just think an app would be way more reliable than this.
App works fine from the phone but doesn’t play well with the Apple Watch app. Will rate higher when that’s fixed. Being able to control everything from the waterproof watch is key. Please fix ASAP. Would also like the a few updates. Like other have suggested, being able to toggle the schedules on and off would be great. Also, I’d love to be able to adjust Intellichem settings in the app and be able to do dosing from the app.
There’s no place to go provide feedback. And the app support button only brings up the Pentair website. Which is not the most intuitive or user-friendly interface. I provided feedback on the safety delay when you turn on a feature that has a safety delay it just turns the button back off and when you don’t know what’s going on you think there’s something wrong. A pop-up window notifying of the safety delay would be a great solution to inform the users of why the feature will not come on. And a tab somewhere within the menu of the app to provide app feedback on things like this would be awesome. To get the information to the right people . also, synchronizing the time with iOS and setting daylight savings does not appear to work. The majority of the pools I service have screen logic and I have to set the time from the panel. On all of them.
System was great but recently the App stopped showing my system on the iwatch, only option there is “demo server”. Even after opening the app to let the app on the watch sync with the phone, no bueno. The system overall is ok, significant time delay (sometimes a day or two) before schedules sync up. Still, better than not having the option…
