I use this all the time. I am currently in the process of leveling my entire library. My Only wish for this app is... More books! I'm finding lots of my books aren't even in the app. More GRLs on more books! UPDATE: With the with the new update, I can confidently say it's gotten worse. I now have to hit the "scan" button EVERY TIME I want to scan a book, even with a pile sitting, ready to go, in front of me. Also, with the new update it seems new books were not added (ones purchased from Scholastic Book Orders, mind you) Good job, nice try. Please try again!

PLEASE stop making me log in EVERY time I open the app!! It seemed so much easier to use before the last update.

I'm a classroom teacher scanning LOTS of books for my library and found out that the guiding reading level, lexile, etc may be completely DIFFERENT from Scholastic's Book Wizard website! I don't understand why this is but it's frustrating since my classroom library list now has incorrectly leveled books. I ended up double checking a few books on lexile.com and the lexile rating from both websites (lexile & scholastic) matched, but the lexile rating from the app was different. 1 example you can type search on the app and website is "fantastic frogs" by Penelope Arlon (if you scan it, 'fabulous frogs' shows up but has the same cover).

It is so annoying that you always have to sign in, and it doesn't remember your username or password!

I still do find it amazing just how many scholastic brand books are not available in the database of book levels. Still, the scanning function was a huge redeeming quality. Now, with the new update, I have to log in every single time I open the app. In a classroom setting, those extra seconds sway me from opening and using the app as frequently as I need to.

I agree this used to be an awesome tool, but now I have to sign in all the time and most books I scan are not in the database. If they are, they don't have complete results for me to level them. Even Scholastic books! I used to use the website to level books with the Y-YY-G etc color system, but apparently Scholastic has dropped that. This app is useless for me. I'm deleting it.

New version requires login every time you want to scan a book. Nobody wants to add a minute to what should be a ten second activity. Navigation is a little tiresome as you need to dig down to scan a book through a couple screens and then back out to get to your lists. Also a lot of scans produce no results, but then you type in a title, and bingo the book is in the database. Also title sort of books in list doesn't ignore common leading words like "the". That's pretty lame.

Love the scan functionality of the app, it makes creating book list so simple. However, now it prompts you to login every single time you enter the app. So if I'm in a book store or purses perusing, I have to log in about 15-20 different times. Please add function to allow you to remain logged in. Rating will be improved at that point. Also update database to include newer books, although I understand this takes time. Thanks!

I don't understand why I have yet to find a Spanish title leveled. I tried your website and if the Spanish title is listed the reading level is blank. With the number of dual language and immersion classrooms I am shocked that you do not support this. Please add Spanish titles to your leveled collection. Thank you.

I'm shocked and disappointed that most of the books that I purchased from Scholastic book club are not on this app! And I found that sometimes if type the book in it has it but when I scan the same book it doesn't show up. They need to get busy and update their book database!
