I FINALLY feel in control of my life and discovering this app has helped me to realize another element of my forward direction in restoration of health and Life to my life. I'm finally in a place where I can be engaged in my own will to be whole and happy, this App makes me feel that I can accomplish it all without having to spend lots of money to go to retreats or foreign trips to get away from the stressing events or people in my life. It addrsses the Major elements that have ravaged my health from childhood. Now I can see a future with the help of my doctors & God's power to realize my own dreams instead of watching others realize theirs. I Thank the developers. Truly.

great app

I love pacifica, but I have one little complaint: the “top” comments in areas like gratitude are a little under three years old... I understand that they got a lot of likes, but over the years they’ve maintained the top position BECAUSE they’re IN the top position (new people see the posts and like them). Buzzfeed’s mental health week was two years ago... it’s not incredibly relevant anymore. I wish there was a refreshing feature that allows for newer posts to be at the top. other than that, thanks for such an incredible app. the features work very well!

Immensely Helpful

This app is very helpful for a variety of reasons. I love that it gives you recommended activities each time you ‘check in’, to help guide you towards self-care. I appreciate the short meditation sessions that allow you to do a 5-10 minute meditation or extend the session longer. The thought journal is wonderful, as it really forces you to pay attention to your thought patterns. While the app does have certain activities hidden behind pay walls, they are not critical to the overall usefulness of the app. Most of the paid upgrades relate to customized content. Great app!

Very good

Absolutely loving this app. It’s an all-in-one for mental health. My favorite feature is being able to see graphs of your mood in relation to the types of habits you achieve. I rated it 4 stars because there is a clunky navigation system. I was informed there was going to be an update soon which would correct this, and I’ll definitely be back to change this review to 5 stars as soon as that happens!

I’d rate higher if ...

... the app had a horizontal screen orientation option. Nobody wants to disconnect their smart keyboard from their tablet, turn the tablet the other way around, then hold it with one hand and type with the other. I tend to immediately uninstall apps that have no horizontal orientation options.

Essay simulator

If you feel overwhelmed or anxious, just write an essay. And another essay and ten essays after that. What a joke.

Was hard to understand at first, but after coming back to it I was surprised how much access I get for free. I would like an emergency meditation/ breathing exercise option as soon as you open the app, as well as reminders through out the day to partake in activities to increase your health. Mood tracker, with notes to dump anything on your chest or to note possible triggers. Large social activity with private groups( chat rooms) and public forums, they are not always very active ( in comparison to major social media apps )but are very useful. Health Tracker to help make small daily goals. Even as small as " hygiene " which as someone who suffers from depression can be hard to meet the daily shower when you struggle to justify getting out of bed. A much safer and healthier app than anything I've seen for mental wellness. ( like Talk Life) The only thing stopping this from being a five star rating is wishing it gave me more of a kick in the butt to meet my set goals. UPDATE : New version makes it more tedious to plug in your mood or journal about your day
