I’m really glad I didn’t get any other accessories that require this app. The app is half baked and doesn’t look like they planned to support or update it. The headset portion is practically useless, the settings are not retained and more often doesn’t recognize or loses connection to the headset. I’ve only been using it for a week now but three times, when I’ve opened the app, I get a loud piercing tone through the headset at full volume. It’s too bad, the headset feels like it is nice and rugged but the app makes this positive point meaningless.

I don’t write reviews often but this is sooo irritating that I have to let others know. I am an insurance adjuster and I purchased the moisture meter to use while inspecting residential and commercial buildings. You cannot use this product without giving them access to your personal information. There is absolutely ZERO reason that a moisture meter would require access to my microphone, photos, videos, or camera. Maybe, just maybe, someone wants to use their phone camera for documentation but it should be an option. The attempted invasion of privacy to use a simple tool is unacceptable. Not only will I return this moisture meter but (because of this) I will NEVER purchase another tool they build. Whoever came up with the idea to steal information from the people that help their company grow should be fired. If I could give this product negative stars, I WOULD!

Bought it because I needed a moisturizer meter for one of my customers. I have read through directions, troubleshooting and even tried extending out for assistance from Ryobi which is easier said than done. Wish it worked but it has let me down time and time again. I can get a reading periodically out of it but try to get a second reference reading and forget about it . Piece of junk in my book. Save your money don’t buy this one. Love the idea but something is wrong with it not reliable at all. Really matters when a customer is relying on your professional advice.

I have the infrared thermometer which was a great tool when I first got it but once I did a update it started crashing and not reading anything. It makes Siri come on the just crashes! Would be a great tool if it worked like it is supposed to!

Using my iPhone 6SE I could not get my phone works laser level to identify my device. I kept getting a message indicating possible ‘mono’ mode or volume setting errors...then I read the instructions...turned out I was mounting the laser level on the display side of the iPhone...after mounting the device on the backside of my iPhone it worked!

There is no way this product could be any worse. I got the Inspections scope and it stopped working after 5 minutes of use. I power up the scope and connect to its little unsecured WiFi. However this app only connected to the scope the first time. Then the app crashed and would never connect to the device again. Removed the app, put new batteries in the device, forgot the stupid little network. All for nothing. Also let’s talk about why you have to create an account for this? Everything it does it local. Total BS collecting so much data. Why do you need my email and location data? No reason. The instructions to connect are also incorrect. It tell you the network requires a password. It doesn’t, the device creates a totally unsecured network.

Frequent crashes. Bad screen redraws with missing buttons forcing me to quit and relaunch. Request for personal information can be bypassed. I was able to connect with my inspection scope but the light function didn’t necessarily match what the software indicated.
