R-Type 1 and 2 used to run great, but with each new iOS update, the performance,Anne has suffered. Lots of lagginess, and worse with the filters on. Too bad DoT Emu doesn't care enough to update the game. It will likely be removed from the App Store soon.
Great app - but not IOS 11 ready

Unfortunately this application will not be compatible with the next generation operating system of Apple mobile devices. Please update this app so it will work in iOS 11.

Would it be possible to enable power up selections? I mean, there are no achievements for this game, and some of the levels are REALLY hard. I know, I know, "get gud," right? But I have no interest in investing dozens of hours to master everything I need to be able to flawlessly beat each level. I would really appreciate an optional life meter or a cheat screen so I could power up and just enjoy the game. Please!
