I can't believe it!!

I have no clue what their budget is for this app but I bet it isn't much. Really upset this morning. I needed a recorder for my Rode Wireless Filmaker Mic and decided to give the app a try. I can not obtain the file. I assume you must upgrade to the paid version to get the file but I am not sure if that'll get the files off my computer. I am beyond ticked at Rode right now. It has actually made me wonder if their products are even worth the price they sell them at. I spent 400 dollars on a mic, at least give me an app that runs if your going to advertise about your app.

Yep, totally crappy, like it's designed for the first iPhone ever and asks you to go pro all the time so you can pay for a crappy app with more functions. How do you delete the exported files? For the life of me there's no way I can tell aside from deleting the app. Well maybe that's what I should do.

Downloaded this a long time ago and wanted to try it, but it won't record anything. Buttons are grayed out. Anytime I hit anything else it asks me if I want to buy the upgrade, but why would I believe that one will work better?

I was filming an important event and was using your app to record sound. At the end I have only 3 minutes audio from one hour of important event. Why did you made this app?

I bought the pay version first. Junk. It didn't work right. So I downloaded this version to see if that may help for some reason. It didn't. Now every time I delete it, it's back when I reboot my phone. Rode, you should be ashamed for not updating this piece of junk. Not buying you Mocs anymore either. Booooo...

There is no way to get recordings off your phone and share them online. You can only do it with the paid app. This app should be removed from the App Store, it does not work.

After spending hundreds of dollars on an iXY I downloaded the LE software so I could work on the recorded files on my DAW Unfortunately that was not possible. It’s not user-friendly and you cannot export normal Files – only CAFs So now I’m going to upgrade to the $5.99 version But my question is why create an app that doesn’t work basically? Why create frustration and disappointment for your customers? I’ll never forget the one and a half hours of time I wasted messing around with this stupid app - it will affect my purchasing decisions in the future, of which I have many, concerning rode microphones

Worst purchase of 2017

Brought the Rode external microphone $$ for my IPhone 6 because it said it was designed for the IPhone. Had I not bought it in a foreign country I would have asked for a return refund. It seems that the mic was designed for the app not the IPhone. And the free Rode app asks to pay for an upgrade, after paying more than 100 US Dollars! I could not use the external mic when steaming Facebook live video. The difference between the IPhone mic and Rode app Mic is not worth that expense. I should send it back to the manufacturers, for me it is useless junk. A waste of time to repack it and ship it to them for the most disappointing purchase of 2017. IPhone stock mic is fine and I’ll await their further quality upgrades.
