Eater cofounder is happy with this app??? Cmon. It's terrible. You've taken some of the best restaurants and put their booking into the worst app. Your connections in the business have allowed you to make booking a nightmare for us restaurant lovers. Either improve this app or let OpenTable take over these accounts. Please ??♀️

The app has technical issues with basic things like signing in to your account. It's not ready for the public, and shouldn't be in the App Store.

Forcing me to download an app and sign up for an account just to make a reservation is frustrating to the point of being laughable. Web reservations are supposed to make the process easier- not harder. Sorry Resy, I'm going back to Open Table.
Bad Design & Terribly Frustrating User Experience

A restaurant which used to use Open Table now claims to accept reservations using this site. The Resy website required that I enter my number to proceed. The link texted me a link forcing me to download this app and required me to create an account using my email. Once installed, the app didn't allow me to change the restaurant location, time (from dinner to lunch), or date (from this month to next month). It was so aggravating and disappointing I not only instantly deleted the app (though they now still have my email & number), it makes me want to actively avoid dining at any restaurant using this app, which reminds me how common poorly tested bad design can be.

Don't waste your time- either use the phone or OpenTable this app is pathetic. I don't think they user tested it at all. The UI is so not intuitive, god forbid you make a mistake - you can't even undo and change your reservation. Pretty sure this app is a scam to get people to cancel their res and charge them $15, maybe thats why is called resy, it has nothing to do dinner at all. Was nearly impossible to login and the customer support was also horrendous.

It really bothers me that all the new and trendy places are switching to this reservation system.. Not because it's good, not because it's easy to use, not because it's user friendly but just to follow the trend of "we are cool, we use Resy". It is FRUSTRATING to make a reservation, find a place or time slot. Save yourself time and just call the place instead. This thing is USELES.
