I’ve played about 10 games now. Love the concept. Keeps you thinking and looking at the board.

It was fun and challenging for the first several rounds, but then the AIs pieces become better, setup is unbalanced from the beginning, and moves become much more difficult once you’ve won a few games. It’s almost impossible to get a good move, and there’s really no turning back once it’s gotten harder. It would be nice if there was a level that wasn’t super mind bending for those of us who like the challenge and entertainment of the concept but aren’t hardcore players. After about 8 or 10 rounds, it’s no longer fun. That said, it’s inspired me to take all the pieces from two chess sets and screw them all up on a real board so I can play this interesting version with my son.

Really fun version of Chess! However, this AI opponent is so slow. I feel like the AI took longer than I did to plan moves, which is obnoxious for a computer. I understand this might be “thinking time” for the player, but when I’m trying to cruise though unwinnable games with no strategy, I don’t need all that dead space. If it’s intentional, please let me turn it off in the settings at least!

I am not one for the drivel. I am a busy man, but, this game deserve the highest praise. When I started learning chess people told me the old advices: " Read a book", "buy a board" , " join a club", but I am happy I shunned those people because of this game. What this game did was make it fun! And also make me realize learning chess the old way is outdates. I learnt more about defense, positioning and patience from this game than anything the books could offer. What is more rewarding is that I figured out chess on my own and not from a teacher. I hate teachers, I think they are useless; self knowledge is supreme. Did I mention that the computer is the most ruthless and unforgiving opponent I ever faced in chess? It doesn't holds its' punches and wouldn't hesitate to attack your queens on sight or end a game early. Check out this game!!! It will change your life!

It’s just a really goofy version of chess and the AI can easily be baited and outsmarted but the piece difference is what makes it difficult. My only gripe is there’s no option for a stalemate

It is such a creative idea to break traditional rules of international chess and make it quite awkward. I really enjoyed REKT the AI and the way round :D
Really Bad Indeed

To any prospective downloaders, the name of the application serves as a rather conspicuous clue to it’s quality, for why should anyone trust a product describing itself as “really bad”. The idea is not terrible, the execution is. There is often completely inequitable distribution of pieces between player and AI, even in the lower rankings. The AI is far too intelligent for novices, contrary to the application’s marketing.
