This is truly one of the funniest apps i've ever played, however, there are quite a few bugs 1. the rating system is off. Sometimes i'll do great against a 67 board and lose in 3 moves to a 32 board... seems to be off sometimes 2. Computer never makes a move against you. I know that there are no ties in really bad chess but you never win when it's a tie which can be frustrating after a good match 3. occasional crashes after winning games and returning to menu Overall this app is totally worth all the bugs and is excellent. 3 dollars for the full game is a great deal as wel

it’s a cool game but now i got to a point where both the king for me and the computer were left and neither of us could checkmate each other lol. so I guess the game’s stuck there unless I surrender and lose my ranking. I wish there was a draw result when this happens though.

I don't understand why people are being so critical. The app is straight up called "Really Bad Chess". I think this app is great. I oddly enjoy chess, a lot. I mean it's not weird to like chess but I'm a middle schooler who DOESN'T make straight A's. I mean I could make grades like that, if I cared. I don't care as long as I'm not pushed back a grade. I'm so proud of myself. I'm such a great student. Sorry to the kids who don't make good grades. Please, take my smarts. At least I'll have a "real" excuse for acting dumb. Thanks for listening to my summarized life story. Hope I made you laugh, it's my one true life goal. Random thought but the thunder outside is REALLY LOUD. Dangit, I can't take a bath shower (the most effective way to waste water) now. ? How unfortunate for my obsessive need to take a warm bath and then rinse with cold water while dancing impressively to the beautiful music my brain makes when it thinks about school. Ahh, I love agonized screams. Why is this review this long. I'm practically reviewing thunderstorms now. I'm way too lonely.

Great fun! But issues with not being able to move pawns in some situations! Especially king, he can’t usually move to capture his attacker except in a very small amount of times, even when doing so does not endanger himself. Please fix this, it’s many pawns not just king I have seen it. Makes it very frustrating

Originally, I reviewed this game relatively poorly because I found the difficulty too easy. Although I was a relatively poor chess player, I was able to get close to rank 100 fairly easily. And, I found that odd. (By the way, my original review was unexpectedly deleted by Apple with no comment.) But, then, something even more strange happened. The difficulty became cranked up. I kept losing over and over. I lost repeatedly until I was back under rank 50. Who knows? Maybe they just updated the AI and tweaked the difficulty. But, since the company sells ‘undos’ as in-app purchases, it incentivizes them to play with the AI until they game you to buy more. I would much rather just pay for the whole game upfront. The pricing model is suspicious.
