App doesn’t work

I have an iPhone and the app just doesn’t work. It won’t load any of the things I need to see.

Used quip for years, I was very happy with it. Quip update its program now it does not work. I know I have an old ipad but why can you not write programs to support old ipabs(ios 9.3) and new programs(10.0 nd above) lost alot of data. Thanks quip.

Bad iPad Experience

I use quip across all platforms and while I am satisfied with Quip in general, their iPad app is a disaster. I am constantly struggling with navigation issues. You can forget about editing a spreadsheet, the experience is horrible which unfortunately is not in any way enhanced by the availability of a hardware keyboard. Quip needs to improve their iPad app if they want customers to be seriously using Quip on a mobile device. (Hint, look at Paper app).

Overall I’m a pretty happy quip user but this iOS app has some pretty gnarly bugs that make it unusable. After a few weeks of usage, eventually the app gets into a state where nothing loads at all. Just data loading error messages appear when trying to use it. I have to delete the app and reinstall it to buy myself a few more weeks.

Cannot download multiple files at once

I don’t usually comment on apps, but this one got me pretty upset. There is no way to download more than one file at a time, the system is a web based interface, very crapy. The only two option to download any files is through export, which only gives you 2 options. Html and word! Who the hell use word and html for collaboration, have you hear of pdf?? What’s more, the folder structure is a total joke, my client uploads 10 pdfs to me, and I can only see them in the notification center. Not able to download them in pdf format unless you open the file and export. How is this called itself an organization tool or productivity tool is beyond me. Hey just use dropbox or google drive for file sharing, use google doc for word collaboration. Stay away from this app gonna save you so much time. Whoever designed this app is absolutely stupid.

I have been really enjoying this app. One thing I would like is better options to add pics. Like a thumb nail option. The problem with cropping a pic, I usually have to go with an image that is too big or I end up cutting off what I want to show. Thanks
