I think it works adequately (3.5 stars) but the endless flood of shrill emails and even alerts on my phone…it’s almost like they WANT to drive customers away. It’s frustrating that I have to choose between taking the time to research other VPNs vs supporting a company that goes out of its way to be annoying. Seriously, if PureVPN were a person, you’d go out of your way to avoid such an obnoxious personality. Gross.

Why did you change the UI on all the platforms? Just to make it look better. On Windows we used to be able to choose different settings and options, now it all looks the same and you have to trial and erroR the servers.

Takes forever to start streaming if it starts at all.then it buffers. Have to turn off to stream anything. Ive tried it in two different states and another country with very poor results. It wont even recommend the country that im in even though it shows it available. Then the country it recommends it wont even hook up too. Honestly dont even know what its good for. Reached out to them twice and they basically said ok,not much we can do money wasted on a One year subscription.
And they DID improve/fix it!

My original problem (now fixed by them!): It used to to work very well but now Arte.tv & FranceTelevision prevent PureVPN access. Please do what is needed to make it work again. —-> Thank you! You fixed the problem!
Reliable VPN Service & easy to use

I signed up with Pure VPN a few years ago, in that time I’ve seen really good improvements. They have a really nice updated app now, and it’s easy to use, shows connection data that some may appreciate more than it just working well & being reliable. Even with streaming video, using in (US) or out of country servers (Romania, UK, Australia, Russia, & others), Pure VPN is great. No stuttering or artifacted video. If the internet served is bad, VPN can’t fix that. I have used other VPN service, only a few more than at a time. Pure is the only one I’ve used long term, and I’m thoroughly impressed.
Useless and no refund

The service is dead in China. I paid for 24 months. In the past 8 months, I only received the minimum via chrome extension, all apps across all platforms were useless. Now, nothing worked, the servers are down in China, with no expected time of return. More interestingly, I cannot even request a refund for the remaining 16 months. Worth everyone throwing cash at!
