Great app

Briar apple

So nice to be able to read the paper as I remember reading it when it was still on actual paper. Reporting is great in fair!

Promo e edition

I like the app accept it most often defaults to two pages on the screen then you have to go an extra step to get a one page view

Beware

another error message

When this app works, it’s great, but over the past two months, it has only worked 50% of the time. Calling the Providence Journal doesn’t help, as the company has no record of my $199 payment made in March. Apple also doesn’t help. Find another way to purchase your newspaper or be prepared for the frustration that comes when you sit down for your morning coffee and daily eEdition to discover nothing but error messages.

I enjoy being able to read the print edition on my phone and/or iPad. It’s convenient and I never have to worry that the carrier skipped my house.

New reading software for the ProJo better but still flawed

Lit Arch

The new software for reading the Journal is a great improvement over the earlier, quirky and awkward versions. It greatly improves the reading experience and versatility in accessing information and sending it to others. Unfortunately the amount of errors in how each article is displayed I has been increasing of late! When an article is selected for a closer read, the result on the screen tends to be a mixed up version with some paragraphs missing or whorls sections left out. I’ve even experienced completely different articles displayed. I’m not sure if this is human operator error at the Journal or a software glitch. The Journal should take a closer look at their operation. Without a functioning soft version of the PROJo I would absolutely cancel my long standing subscription! Keep up the good work and for gosh sakes, get your act together!

Very convenient.
