As an authenticated user in offline mode (without Wifi) the app doesn't always allow opening of previously downloaded (including today's) issues. It annoyingly asks to “Logon” repeatedly with or without Wifi throughout the day. If you attempt to Logon to read without Wifi it will say “External contents not available offline” & lockup not allowing to read what you've already previously downloaded. Hit or miss. Calling Help # doesn't get you any help. It would also be nice if the app would (had an option to) reliably open to the last place you were reading b4 closing. Update 5/5/2021 Revised from 3 to 4 stars. Most issues listed previously listed seem to have been addressed & resolved thru an interim app update.

Much better than old app, especially now that tapped articles show on the whole page. I’ve always liked seeing the paper as it is printed.

Overall the e-edition is informative. I do find that the obit page is seldom updated.
