Keeps failing and doesn't work with Bluetooth!

I like this app at first and got some great pictures. However now when I use the app, I take one picture and the app disappears and I have to reload. It also does not pair with Bluetooth device so can't use a selfie stick for stability. Also doesn't pair with using the volume control to snap shutter!! Using less and less now.

I would normally rate this as a five star app, however recently it seems to not keep the settings when I close the app and reopen it later. I generally prefer the TIFF setting but will take a photo, notice the lost quality and realize it reverted to jpeg. Devs, if you see this help us out and fix that bug. Other than that one of the best apps for photography.

Cannot manually control shutter speed and ISO plus for some reason when I am playing music thru Bluetooth in my car when I open the moment app it starts playing music on my phone faintly instead of in my car.... I can live with the music part but no control of shutter speed and ISO is a huge flaw especially since you can shoot RAW

Fast Updates and Good Controls

I had some issues with v 2.7.1 but the fast updates from Moment addressed the problem I was experiencing and now my camera is fine. I am only using the app with the Moment battery case and lenses and I find that when matching the lens model in the app with the physical lens, the camera is very responsive with focus and exposure. The ability to save RAW files is awesome, but be careful when switching from 1x to 2x on iPhone 7 Plus because when switching the app does not remember the format and defaults to JPEG. The sliding gesture controls are a nice feature but are not ideal, maybe a sensitivity setting or a slider with steps can be implemented in future versions. I'm very happy with my case, lenses and the app and I am very certain that future updates will make the system better. I highly recommend Moment to a casual photographer with looking for even greater portability without sacrificing too much in terms of image quality.

Be warned. It's in the tiny small print, buried deep on the website. I got my battery case yesterday after weeks of anticipation. Any time you want to make or answer a headset call -- using the iPhone 7plus lightning earbuds -- you'll have to take the phone OUT of the case. Every time. Audio is not transmitted through the lightning port of the case. It charges and syncs. But no audio in or out. If you want to listen to music? Ain't happening, unless you go spend another $100 minimum on a decent pair of Bluetooth (or way more on wireless) headphones. The manufacturers say it's out of their control, which I'm sure is true, but I resent finding out about it AFTER I wait weeks for the product. Now I'm back to needing TWO cases. Again. As will you be, if you're determined to buy this case. I doubt the hinge on this one will withstand being opened five times a day. Very, very disappointed. It is, after all, still a phone.

I’m a fan of moment. After upgrading to iOS 11, moment app has ratio issues on video mode: 1. 1080p wrong ratio, 720p is correct 2. 4K weird color

Unreliable- App fails all the time

Great app. Love all the features. Works so much better with the wide angle lens than the native camera app on iphone, but I can’t use it. Its not reliable. Most of my videos, the sound cuts out after 5 seconds of shooting, and no matter what settings I use, like 2 out of 5 videos will not save. I’ll record and when I hit the button to stop recording, the app fails and I lose everything I just recorded and the app closes. I would love love to use the app, but I VLOG using my iphone, and I’d hate to record something long, like 10+ min and lose it all and have to try to do something over again. If that issue gets fixed then I’ll change my rating, but until then I can’t recommend this app. Its unreliable, plain and simple. I’m running the latest ios version on an Iphone 6s. I tried the app with a previous ios version and was having the same issues. I gave it 2 stars because the features are great. Just can’t take advantage of the features. Please fix.

Sorry Moment— I really really wanted to love your battery case but I just couldn’t. The shutter has not worked once in the 5 days I have owned it so I am returning it. I have watched all your videos, taken it out of the case, reset it, upgraded the firmware.... still nothing. I also wasn’t thrilled about the earphones not working ... which I could have lived with but not the shutter issue ...

I’ve been a moment fan since the beginning. I had their other case which worked fine via Bluetooth. I bought the new battery case and I loved it. I didn’t have a problem with connecting to charge until now. I would have to take my phone off the case (which is a little tough) and slip it back on to connect but that had stopped working. I would hate to stop using the case that costed a lot of money. Please fix the connection issue!!!!!
